Another awards show, another chance to oogle the amazing red carpet dresses! I’m a huge country music fan, I think that as a whole, country artists are the classiest, sweetest breed of musicians…and it refelcts in their attire.

I love that they all put in the effort to look fashionable, respectable, and professional at awards shows that are based around adkowledging them, and their music. It’s refreshing to see an awards show that has not turned into a mockery/Halloween party. (Cough, cough…the Grammys)

The Academy of Country Music Awards did not disappoint this year!

Here are my picks for best dressed…

(Photo credit OMG!Yahoo) The amazing Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland wins my vote because she brought some Spring color to the carpet! She looks amazing in this pink chiffon and lace dress...and the sparkly yellow empire belt makes it that much more girly and fun 🙂

  2. Carrie is SO gorgeous. I do not think she’s human!
    At first I wasn’t a big fan of Jennifer of Sugarland’s dress, but after looking at it again I have to say I do like it. The belt adds a really cool pop of color and you’re right, it IS technically spring!
    I thought Taylor’s whole look with the bangs and dress was a bit too angular for me. Too many straight lines! Haha
