I love makeup as much as the next girl, but I’ve never been one to spend a lot of money for it…especially when it comes to trends.
Right now I am loving bright pink lips! Over the past few weeks I’ve picked up four different lip sticks/stains/balms and glosses…all available in nearly every drugstore, and all under $15! Check out my new favorites…
(Left to right) NYC Liquid LipShine, Soft Lips Tinted Lip Balm, COVERGIRL Lipslicks, and COVERGIRL Outlast Lip Color
1)
COVERGIRL LipSlicks Lip Gloss "Princess 110" ($5.99 at my local grocery store)It appears much more sheer on my lips than I thought it would, I would suggest using it over a darker pink lipstick if you want it to pop- I think it's too light to stand on it's own, but a great product for every day use or when lounging.
2)
NYC Liquid Lip Shine "Fashion Avenue Fuchsia 579" ($2.99 at CVS)I LOVE this gloss, it smells like cake or something of the sort, SO yummy. Its a great gloss, and is dark enough to stand on it's own...I think it's a tad darker in person...this picture doesn't really do it justice.
3)
Soft Lips Tinted Lip Balm "Pearl" ($3.99 at Walmart)This lip balm wears so light...almost white, which is too light for me. However, I have used it over a red lipstick and that combination creates a phenomenal shimmery pink color.
4)
COVERGIRL Outlast All Day Lip Color "Rose Pearl 547" ($12.49 at CVS)I'm a huge fan of the Outlast Lip products, I swear they really do last and have a huge selection of colors. This pink is my favorite product out of every one in this post! I'm not sure why the picture appears red/orange...but the pink color is absolutely perfect.
So funny you posted this. A few girls had a Mary Kay sale in a conference room at work last week. I found THE cutest pink lip gloss and the color is “berry tart”. The girl really talked me into it by having me try it on. I always lean toward the warmer shades and now I’m rethinking my choices. 😉
I love the lip gloss itself as well as the color. It stays on for a long time and the tube is kind of small and fits in the front pocket of my scrubs. I have to keep something in my pocket to add color throughout the day that will last and that I don’t necessarily need a mirror for. This is perfect! Can’t wait to try other shades! Btw…I’ve never even used Mary Kay before and I’m definitely not a sales person. Lol.
That is too funny- the Mary Kay reps always suck me in too! I have one lady who’s been calling/e-mailing/sending me catalogs for a year now lol! I may actually have to try the “berry tart” lip gloss though- it sounds like a good find 🙂

Mmm, I love a lip stick that actually tastes/smells good! It really makes all of the difference 🙂
