I’m always willing to try everything + anything when it comes my hair. Products, treatments, supplements –  you name it. I have a head of very fine, weak, thin, and just all around pathetic hair [that I DO try my very best to take care of], but always find myself seeking more help. I recently received the Kérastase Resistance Thérapiste system which consisted of a primer + a conditioner…

These are both fiber quality renewal care products meant for very damaged, over-processed, fine hair. Sounded good to me!

Quick note: So I’ve been dabbling with YouTube + thought I’d try to film an unboxing/review! This was basically as far as I got…LOL

Let me just say…it’s hard to film yourself!

Ok, back to Kérastase! The unique thing about this system is that the primer [essentially conditioner] is intended to be used before you shampoo. I was actually excited about this! Many times I will condition my hair prior to washing it, just to help detangle any leftover tease or product build up from that day.

I followed the instructions + was SO impressed! I asked my roommate to try it out as well + she had similar feedback. Once you apply the primer to your wet hair – it’s immediately absorbed. You hair literally drinks this stuff up! And can I note how delicious it smells?! Note…It smells delicious! You leave the primer on for 2 minutes or so….kill some time…shave your legs…then rinse + shampoo. The shampoo has a different scent – which was interesting, I feel like paired products usually smell the same, but it was still pleasant!

One downside I’d like to note…both bottles had screw off as opposed to flip caps. They proved to be a bit tricky to open while in the midst of a soapy shower. Definitely a bummer, but not a deal breaker.

I rinsed everything out  + noticed how much  hair had fallen from my head…basically none! I feel like I lose a decent amount of hair every time I shower + I honestly lost MAYBE 1-2 strands this time around. That was a huge, huge bonus for me! 🙂

After getting hopping out,  I was really happy with the way my hair felt.

Happy Amanda sans makeup.
Happy Amanda, sans makeup, happy with how her hair feels…

I proceeded to blow dry + the next day, styled it as normal…

My hair felt so fresh + healthy after only 1 use! I’m looking forward to continuing with this system + seeing how it works over time.  Overall: HAPPY GIRL!

I love Influenster for giving me the opportunity to try new products out — but I love them even more when they turn out to be fabulous ones!

Have you tried the Kérastase Resistance Thérapiste system or any other Kérastase products? What are your thoughts? Any tips for me? 🙂

XOXO

Note: I did receive these products complimentary for testing purposes.

    • Yes! The primer definitely helps to detangle your hair before lathering it all up with shampoo which I think is what really helped with keep hair loss to a minimum. In addition, the primer also kind of works as a hair a mask! It left my hair super silky.

I’ve been using it for about 2 weeks now + my hair really does feel very healthy lately. I’ve tried a Kerastase mousse before, but I’m going to look into some of their other products as well!

Let me know if you end up giving it a try! I’d love to know what you think.

Thank you so much for reading!! XOX
