I have been dying to get this blog written for a few weeks now! I wanted to share one of my new favorite products with you guys. 🙂

Physician’s Formula Nude Wear™Touch of Glow Palette

If you’re like me, and try to keep the number of products you use on a daily basis to a minimum, you jump at the chance to try an all-in-one palette!

First off, can we talk about the packaging for a hot sec? Is this not the most adorable little thing you’ve ever seen!? I love when products are packaged this way, I feel like it helps protect them from any cracking/breaking.

As for the product itself…with equal parts highlighter, blush, powder, AND bronzer this compact covers all of your bases.

The micro-fine iridescent Mother of Pearl Pigments claim to “bathe skin in the perfect balance of transparent and pearlescent shimmer, for an ultra-chic and modern way to glow”.

The first time I used this palette, I did so in replacement of my usual bronzer, blush, and highlighter.
The first time I used this palette [above], I did so in replacement of my usual bronzer, blush, and highlighter routine. FYI – the insta fitler makes me look a littttttle more tan than I actually was.
I was definitely a fan of the results, but I felt way too pale! [I am a bronze-a-holic, after all].

So now, I like to apply my makeup as I normally would [which includes my regular highlighting, bronzing, blush, and contour routine]. When I’m done, I simply dust each of the shades in this palette on top of those select areas of my face. I think all are meant to be used together, but I use the highlighter and blush on their own + combine the bottom two shades as a bronzer.

Make a kissy/duck face to make your cheekbones pop. Blush should go on the apple of your cheek, while highlighter should go above, on your cheekbone.

For me, this won’t necessarily replace those four products [maybe in the Summer!]…but it is becoming a staple in my daily routine. Adding any kind of illumination products really gives your face a healthy, subtle, glow!

PF Illuminator after

If you’re interested in dipping your toes into the illuminator world, this palette is a great place to start! Physician Formula’s Nude Wear Touch of Glow has a little bit of everything, it won’t break the bank, and it is really easy to use!

Are there any illuminating products that you love?!

XOXO

  1. So beautiful love!!! Every single post you right is perfection…seriously!! I love the guide you made!! You are so beautiful!! I am going to have to try that Nude Wear Touch of Glow! I use Physician Formula’s Shimmer Strips for my highlight and love it! Now I am going to have to pick this up! Thanks so much love for such an amazing post!!

    • Thank you, girlfriend! I always see your PF shimmer strips in your posts + they are definitely working for you! I need to try THOSE out. Thanks for the kind feedback, I’m glad you liked my little diagram LOL – I didn’t know how else to show it!! XOXO

  2. You look so glowy and gorgeous! I use a Loreal eye shadow for my highlight. It’s hard finding shades that compliment super fair skin. I’ve heard good things about the Physicians Formula ones, but I’ve never tried them.

    • Thank you so much! Definitely a great product – it’s very lightweight, and not too pigmented. I think it’d wear really well on more fair skin tones! One product at a time, I’m slowly being converted to a Physicans Formula die-hard! 🙂

  3. I love how it looks so high end, but you are right, it doesn’t break the bank. Plus, it doesn’t make me break out. That is my big issue with most cosmetics. I haven’t tried this one, I have a different palate, but even if I’m not wearing all the rest of my make-up I feel the need to bronze and glo lol 😉 Another well written tutorial, this is a perfect place for those videos I’ve been asking you about. 🙂

    • Physician’s Formula is such a great line of products! Product, by product, I’m slowly becoming their biggest fan. And I knowwww! I promise, I’m working on the videos! 🙂

          • I’ve actually tried them, I was really thrilled. Right now I’m using True Match. I really like the stick, but they were out this time (I only have to buy one once a year, and they happened to be out lol) so I got the liquid… don’t like it as well, even though the number is the same the shade is a little different and it isn’t as light….

          • Ugh! That’s the worst, it’s so frustrating when the shades don’t match up. Have you tried the Garnier BB cream? I use that on most days, I really love the coverage.
