Good Morning + Happy Blogmas Day 7!
Today, I am really excited to share with you the first of 3 posts in a Holiday Party series that I collaborated on with Angie – from Indulge Your Inner Foodie! We thought it’d be fun to combine our skills to help you prepare for your upcoming holiday parties — however casual, or fancy they may be!
When celebrating the holidays with friends and family, the atmosphere tends to be much more low-key + laid back. You want to feel as comfortable in your clothes as you do with your company. With that said, you should still want to look + feel your best! So today, I’ve pulled together an adorable outfit for a casual get together that’s got you covered from head to toe. It’s simple, comfortable, and festive all the same. The best part? Everything is really affordable and available at Target!
- Black and White Pullover Sweater $14
- Mid Rise Skinny Jeans $20
- Solid Tote Handbag with Knot Handle Detailing $28
- Red Ballet Flats $16
- Skinny Gold Belt $9
- Statement Necklace $12
- Bangle Bracelet $10
- Gold Plated CZ Halo Studs $14
- Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure: “Red My Lips” $7
- NYX Red Lipstick $4
I think that dark wash jeans are absolutely appropriate for a low-key get together. The black and white patterned pullover adds a touch of chicness while the pops of gold and red provide the perfect dose of holiday hues!
Once you’re dressed, you need to get yourself a beverage and enjoy some time with the people you love most!

When it’s time for your guests to say goodbye, it is kind of fun to give everyone a little love by sending them each home with a little gift. Angie wanted to share a super simple recipe that everyone will love, even the kids…
Semi- sweet chocolate covered pretzels with white chocolate stripes! Could you get a bag of Flips? Of course! But they wouldn’t taste as good, they wouldn’t look as good, and they wouldn’t show off your creativity, and love. 😉
This isn’t anything expensive, or super technical, but it is homemade, and shows how much you appreciated them joining you for your holiday festivities.
Make sure you visit her blog ASAP to get her full recipe!
Thank you all for reading! Next Monday, we’re sharing part 2 of this Holiday Party Series + we’re going to be stepping up our fashion + recipe game a little bit! 🙂
Have a great Monday!
