Good Morning + Happy 21st Day of Blogmas!

Day 21

Today, I am back with Angie from Indulge Your Inner Foodie for the final installment of our three-part holiday series…and we’ve saved the best for last!

I wanted the last look to be a fancy, elegant, and classic one! I purposely chose a more conservative dress + strayed away from the traditional pops of red to play with the most underrated Christmas color: green! Though it’s simple, I can promise that this outfit will be turning heads the moment you enter the room. 🙂

Holiday gala

Calvin Klein Color Blocked Metallic Gown – I adore this dress. The high neckline, empire waist, and longer, fuller skirt will make for a flattering fit for most women.

Legalisen Drop Earrings – I used pops of red in the last two looks, so I thought it’d be fun to switch it up + incorporate some green. These tear drop earrings are simple, but bring just the right amount of bling to the outfit!

Anne Klein Drama Crystal Toggle Bracelet – This gold + crystal bracelet adds a little bit of bling to the wrist without being too distracting.

Badgley Mischka Piper Satin D Orsay Pumps –  I debated a statement heel, but since the dress is so long, I opted for a simple black satin pump with a fun ruffled feather detail!

Sasha Satin Bow Clutch – For me, a clutch must not be *too* small. I love the design + size of this one. It’s big enough to carry everything you may need, but small enough to lay on your lap.

Butter London British Racing Green Nailpolish – This dark, hunter green polish is a refreshing change from the traditional red Christmas manicure + perfectly compliments this outfit.

Milani Black Cherry Lipstick – I thought that a darker bordeaux lip color would be the best shade to bring the pop of drama I was I was looking for – helping to tie the whole look together.

I SO wish I had a fancy holiday party/gala to attend because I’d go buy this outfit in a minute! 🙂

Angie decided to make one of the tastiest, bite sized appetizers — bacon wrapped dates!

We decided to make our final holiday party fancy. I wanted a fancy hors d’oeuvre that tastes rich, delectable, but is super easy to throw together. Just because it is easy that doesn’t mean that anyone has to know! I decided to bring you Bacon Wrapped Dates, with optional cheese. I was seriously skeptical, but wow! (They are even better after they have cooled.) So wrap some dates, create a festive spirit with some magical decorations, put on your holiday best, and get ready to enjoy the magic of your sparkling, fancy, classic holiday party!

Have you been to any black tie holiday parties this season? What did you wear?

What is one of your favorite hors d’oeuvres?

XOXO
