2016 is here, and I’ve been ready for it.
December 18th marked the half way point of “game-changing ” 27th year. Since then, I’ve done nothing but continue to change up the game….and I don’t plan on stopping. While the New Year brings that “fresh start” feel that you can’t help but love, I’ve been on the “New Year, New Me” high for 6 months now. This year, I’m not relying on the flip of a calendar to motivate me…I’ve already found my motivation. 2016 simply represents more opportunity, positive change, new adventures, and personal growth. 🙂
One of the things that my Mom, my sister + I have been trying to do for over a year now, is create vision boards. We always talked about it, but never got around to it. This week, we finally went out and picked them up!
I chose this weathered, baby blue shadow box that’ll match my bedroom perfectly. 🙂
I started pulling images, magazine clippings + small objects that represent the things that I want to cultivate this year, and in the years to come.

I’ve been identifying both personal + professional goals… however big or small they may be. Many are ongoing or already in the works — others are just things I’m constantly thinking about + don’t want to lose sight of. I love that I’m using a shadow box to create my board — I plan to add to it regularly.
I’ve never felt this motivated, happy, inspired, or alive before …and I cannot get enough. There’s so much to look forward to, so much to be grateful for, and so much good to come! 🙂
I want to wish you all an equally inspiring, exciting, and happy year ahead!
What are some of your resolutions?
Have you ever created a vision board?
XOXO
Happy new year! You have had some amazing success in 2015 and I know you are on a roll! 🙂 I love the vision board idea, I have never done one. I know that you will reach all of your goals. We have so many plans for 2016 I hope that we can fulfill all of them! 😉 My smallest is to double, or TRIPLE my blog following and somehow make it a lucrative source of income. Any suggestions would be great! Keep all your inspiration coming, I love it. Here is to a successful, and happy new year!
Thank you so much, Angie! I love the idea of having a vision board + actually being able to stare your goals in the face when you wake up and fall asleep everyday. I swear that by hard work, honesty, + staying true to yourself you can make anything happen. I have similar blogging goals, but am still learning as well! I am so proud of what I’ve built, but have a long way to go – I’d love to start a blogging 101 series or something this year! I’m no pro, but the little knowledge that I’ve obtained + continue to learn, I’d be happy to share! Thank you for being such a huge supporter of my blog, I appreciate it so much. Here’s to a great year for all of us!! 🙂 XOXO
