So, I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned, but Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays! 😉Valentines Day

While many people boycott, I simply love the idea of a day devoted to celebrating love. Though my Valentine is out of town this year, I’ll still be embracing the day! I wanted to share a few small things that I – and you too – can do to make your Valentine’s Day just a little bit more special this year!

Take a peek! –>

1. A festive manicure. A must! Go for the reds, pinks, a small heart design, or all the glitter! Bringing a little love to your fingernails is an easy way to get you into the spirit.

sinful colors
I usually like to keep it simple, so I’ve been wearing [+ loving] Sinful Colors “Get It On” matte maroon polish this week.
2. Dress the part. Whether it be an article or an accessory, you can’t go wrong by adding a fun pop of V-day color to your outfit!

3.  A romantic makeup look! Opt for a red lip [click here to see some of my favorite red lip products] or switch up your everyday routine!

4.Pamper! Take some time to treat yourself to a relaxing bath or an at-home beauty treatment. 🙂

Treat your hair to a replenishing mask + then hop in the tub! These products were both sent to me to try + I *thoroughly* enjoyed using both. Though individually great, when used together you hit a serious point of relaxation!
One of my favorite things to do when trying to relax? A replenishing hair mask + a soak in the tub! I love using this Suave moisture mask on its own, but when you use it while soaking in a Lavender bath — you hit a serious point of relaxation!
Six Sassy Sisters
After you soak, moisturize your skin with one of Six Sassy Sista’s chemical-free serums. I was sent six of their samples to try, and let me tell you — lathering your body in Coconut, Blueberry, Gummy Worm, or Crisp Apple scented oil not only leaves you feeling incredible, but smelling like a delicious baked good as well! Trust me, your Valentine will just want to eat you up!  Visit their website and use code: SASSY1004 for 40% off their products!

5. Make your sweet treats…even sweeter! You don’t have to get crazy, you can take something simple + turn it into something memorable. Like these *easy* [semi-homeade] heart shaped cinnamon rolls that took me minutes to create!

Using a pair of scissors, snip a small triangle out of each roll + pinch the bottom to create a heart. From there, simply bake according to the package + ice!

For me,  life is all about the little things. I’ve been partaking in all of the above this week + will certainly continue doing so this weekend! 🙂

How are you going to be celebrating Valentine’s Day this year?

Did you share a V-day inspired tutorial, recipe, etc. ? Link it below so I can check it out!

XOXO

*Please note that some of the products mentioned above were sent to me for free. However, all opinions are honest, and my own.*
