Happy Monday! 🙂

I cannot believe this is my last week in Italy! The time has flown by way too quickly. I had wanted to get this post up yesterday, but we spent the weekend traveling + it just wasn’t going to happen. 🙁 So, a little Monday morning Rome-recap it is!

A couple of weeks ago, we headed to Rome after our stay in Milan. I visited Rome years ago, but it was really nice to be back + see everything with new eyes! It’s such a beautiful city + even better than I had remembered. We had gorgeous weather while in town, so naturally we stopped by all of the must-see sites…the Forum, the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish steps, etc! Obviously, we did a lot of eating + picture taking along the way. 😉

It’s so hard choosing only a handful of pictures to post, but here are a few of the highlights. Enjoy!

Aaaand here are a few fun clips I had on my phone that I threw into another video! Enjoy Rome on FFWD …+ my apologies if this makes you dizzy lol:

I remember being so interested in the Colosseum the first time I visited, but after returning it was definitely a little bit disturbing once you let what happened there really sink in – #RealLifeHungerGames. The Trevi is just beautiful — I made lots of wishes for my friends + family, my parents got to see the Pope, we ate some absolutely delicious meals + had a café…or 12. 😉

I hope you all have a wonderful week! I am hoping to get a couple more posts live before the week ends +  before I head back home [#CRYING].

XOXO

  1. I loved the Trevi Fountain too! Our teacher made up get up extra early one morning to go see the Spanish Steps before we got into all of the rest of our activities for the day and I was less than pleased. I did understand why we had to rise at o’dark thirty to go look at some steps. They are gorgeous though and I’m glad I went. Hindsight is 20/20!

    • Hahaha aw!! That is so funny! About 75% of the steps were blocked off for construction — grr. But we were able to go up one side! Rome was really fun, I love the Trevi — probably my favorite 🙂

  3. I love your video! I want to start making those kind of videos this year for when I travel or go on fun day trips. I don’t want to talk to the camera so I figure videos of pretty things and music playing over top of it is a good option haha
