Happy Wednesday!

I wanted to share some photos from what was probably the most beautiful leg of this trip. We stayed in Sorrento for 4 days, and while there, we visited Pompeii, Capri, and Amalfi! I tried to choose just a few photos to share from each. 🙂

Take a peek! –>

Though a little bit depressing, Pompeii was really interesting to see! Sorrento, Capri, and Amalfi were all beyond gorgeous — even while it was raining! The views were breathtaking and the towns were as charming as ever. I can only imagine how much more beautiful they’d be during  the Summer months! SERIOUSLY, WHY IS EVERYTHING SO MUCH PRETTIER HERE?!?! #DontWakeMeUp

XOXO

  1. This is my favorite of your Italy posts!!!! And it makes me sooooooooooo happy to see. I went to sorrento/amalfi/capri this summer for my honeymoon and for realzzzzz, ever since I got back to the States I’ve been planning the next trip over. I really wanted to get to Pompeii but it just didn’t happen- next time! Thank you for sharing. Enjoy every last minute of your trip <3 <3 <3

    • Oh my gosh — that sounds like the most amazing honeymoon!! And I bet it was incredible in the Summer! Such a gorgeous place, I’m definitely planning to come back at some point! Pompeii was interesting to visit, but you didn’t miss very much. I’m so glad you’re enjoying my posts – I’m going to be bummed when it’s back home to normal life LOL.

    • Soo much good food! And you’ll just have to add them to your list of places to visit next time! 😉 The coast was simply stunning, but lots of things were closed…and it was kind of chilly, so next trip, I’m going in the Summer! 😉

    • Thanks, lady!! Sorrento was so wonderful, I’ll definitely have to go back in warmer months, just because a lot of things were closed for the Winter, but regardless, it was beyond charming! 🙂

  2. Such stunning photos! I have visited all of these places in summer and winter and you really don’t want to be there in the summer any more as it’s packed with tourists. I think you get a better experience out of season. Thank you for a lovely reminder of my past travels.x

  3. “Do you know the land where the lemon-trees grow,
in darkened leaves the gold-oranges glow,
a soft wind blows from the pure blue sky,
the myrtle stands mute, and the bay-tree high?
    Do you know it well?
    It’s there I’d be gone,
to be there with you, O, my beloved one…”
