Calling all Real Housewives fans! I have a fun post to share with you today…

This week, I was given a really cool opportunity to join Bravo TV + On Location Tours for the “maiden voyage” of their new Real Housewives of New York bus tour! The bus takes you through the city + points out key locations, restaurants, bars, venues, etc. where memorable moments on the show took place!

I’ve been a Bravo fan for yeaaaars, I was even chosen to be one of the lucky “Bravoholic’s” for a week back in 2013!

But as much of a fan as I am, my Mom may be an even bigger one! I was really excited that I was able to bring her along. We’ve watched [all] of the Housewives together since the series debuted with Orange County back in 2006! So needless to say, this was a really fun day for the two of us. 🙂

Take a peek to see where we went, what we did, and who we met! –>

Wednesday morning we hopped on a train to NYC! We arrived a little early to brunch, so we popped into a cute coffee shop next door.

IMG_1056.JPG The tour began at Tipsy Parson, a cute little restaurant in Chelsea + one of Bethenny’s favorite spots! They had all kinds of yummy brunch bites + beverages. So we had a couple of mimosas before the fun began!IMG_1283Jules Wainstein, one of the new wives this season, was there to chat with us! It was really our pleasure to meet her. She was so friendly, kind, and generous with her time. It was kind of cool to meet her in person before we met her via television. We asked about her experience filming + what she was excited/scared about. Obviously, these are all real women, but when you’re face to face with them…especially just hours before they’re about to open their lives to the world, you can’t help but be nervous for them! So everyone be nice to Jules — she was awesome! And fun fact: she’s the only actual “housewife” on the show right now! LOL IMG_1282.JPG And then there was Ramona!! Fresh from the Today show, she was definitely having fun. She was getting her booze on, dancing around, and had a couple of assistants film clips for her new snapchat account! She  looked great, I cannot believe how small all of these women were! Also…we took 5 pictures + this is legitimately what her eyes look like in every.single.one. The crazy eyes are real! haha IMG_1077.JPG Before we departed, we took some pictures in front of the bus!FullSizeRender.jpg Jules + Ramona!IMG_1120 Swag bags waiting for us at our seats! 🙂 IMG_1124My cute Mom + her swag… IMG_1126Our tour guide was comedian, Melissa Stokoski! She was so adorable + definitely had everyone laughing! Throughout the tour, they played clips of scenes shot at a few of the locations we drove by!IMG_1128 Lot’s of people were filming! There were crews from Bravo + the Today Show!IMG_1132 Picture of Ladurée! A famous Gossip Girl spot too! 😉 IMG_1145 Danielle Monaro from Z100’s Elvis Duran morning show was on the tour with us! She couldn’t have been any sweeter; I think I may have been more excited to meet her than any of the wives LOL. IMG_1302 Il Mulino…where Sonja explains her business plans to Bethenny! IMG_1147 We popped into Ricky’s where Kristen Taekman was waiting for us! She had a small display with her Pop of Color lipsticks + nail polishes set up. I loved her outfit + could not get over how stunning this woman was! Fun facts: she loves nailpolsih, Halloween is her favorite holiday, and she was born + raised in the town I currently live in..so, we’re pretty much the same person?! IMG_1158IMG_1281.JPG OMG, they had the most delicious red velvet cupcakes from Georgetown Cupcake when we hopped back on the bus! IMG_1170 Seriously, they were SO GOOD! IMG_1280 Next stop…SPIN! The location of Carole’s season 5 charity ping pong tournament.IMG_1175 And who else would we expect to be there?! Carole Radziwill was really sweet! She was super generous with her time + answered tons of questions! IMG_1279 She came outside afterwards to snap some pictures. I mean, I would too if I were plastered on the side of a tour bus! hahacaroleThe final stop…NBC studios where Luann, Sonja, and Dorinda were waiting with a green screen! These ladies were so much fun! I’m not sure if they had a buzz on or if they were just loving life, but they were a blast!IMG_1252 My Mom + the Countess were legitimately twins. And I look like I’m ready for snow storm LOL.FullSizeRender-1A peek inside the swag bag! A few skinny girl treats, a Pop of Color liquid matte lipstick, a new mug for my collection, and a real housewife long sleeve T! 🙂swagOh my goodness, what a cool day!! We drove by a ton of other places…Skinnygirl headquarters, WWHL studios, tons of restaurants, hotels, etc. but I didn’t get to snap them all.

We really did have the best time, I’m so glad that I was able to do this with my Mom! 🙂 IMG_1258

RHONY fans, definitely look into this tour next time you’re in town! I’m not sure that they’ll have housewives present for every run, but you never know!!

Are any of you guys Bravo fans?

What’s your favorite  housewives city? I think I’m still the biggest fan of OC! 😉

XOXO

  1. This was a cool experience! I’ve never watched NY, I’m an OC and NJ fan. I love Bethenny from her spin offs and I hate you didn’t get to meet her. The store with all the nail polish looks like somewhere I need to go. I’m so glad you and your mom had such a fun day!

    • I love NJ too! I cannot wait for the new season now that Teresa’s back! I’m kind of bummed we didn’t meet Bethenny either – I would have loved the opportunity to chat with her!! Haha I can’t complain though, it was a lot of fun anyways! 🙂

    • Aww, she was the best!! I had the chance to chat with her a bit throughout the day. She’s the cutest thing …+ of course she had an adorable pair of heels on!! 😂😂

  2. Impressive! We have a celebrity in our midst 😉 You know, you should really try to get onto a reality show. You’d be great! Glad you have fun. I love your relationship with your mom. I hope mine is as good with Mia when she is your age. 🙂

    • LOL! I don’t know if I could handle reality TV. That can be a beastly world! Not as nice as the blogging community! 😉 We did have fun though, it was a great day. I love hanging out with my Mom, she is the absolute best. I’m sure you’re a great Mama + Mia will love to hang out with you when she’s older! My Mom has always been loving, supportive, and understanding with everything in my life. She let me make my own mistakes, but was hands on when she needed to be. Looking back, I really appreciate the way she parented my siblings and I… I worry I won’t be as great of a Mom as she is! It’s hard work, I give all Moms so much credit. I can’t say I’ve always been all that easy of a child!! LOL

  3. What a fun experience! I love Danielle Monaro, it’s so cool that you got to meet her. You and your mom are too cute! Thanks for sharing your fun day! Xoxo

    • Ahh, I loved Danielle! She was the best, all I could think about was how tired she must be!! I don’t know how they all wake up so early to do the show and then attend various events later on! It’s craziness to me!! But she was very kind! Definitely a fun day!! 🙂

  4. This is amazing!!! This sounds like so much fun and how awesome to meet them all in person!! The Ramona crazy eyes is my favorite 😂😂

  5. YAY!!!!! I watch all of the Housewives shows and Bethany is totally my fav but thats awesome you got to meet the others… And I totally believe they are all tiny and crazy! lol 🙂

  6. I’ve never watched even one episode of this show, but I have seen Kevin Hart’s spinoff of it. Lol. Looks like you had a great time and that’s so awesome you got to take your mom with you!

  7. OMG this looks like so much fun hahaha I dont have cable atm but when I was at my mom’s I was super into RHOLA and RHOA which were the ones running during christmas break. That cupcake though…
