Eeeek! There’s a LOT of exciting stuff going on in today’s post!!
Okay, so surely you’ve at least heard about the brand Younique at some point …they’re the company that may have single handedly introduced fiber mascara to the world, in turn, creating a following of die-hard fans! If you’re like me, that may be all you’ve ever heard.
Recently, Shannon [Lazy Gal Glam], a Younique presenter, [and someone that I actually grew up with!] came across my blog + sent me an e-mail explaining that she sells these products! She told me a little bit about their stuff, and asked if I’d be interested in trying anything. I was definitely intrigued, but admitted that I didn’t really know much about the brand + was completely unaware that they sold anything other than mascara!
Once she shared some more information about the line, I was + eager to try out the goods!

Have you tried Younique products before? What do you think of them?
I’ve always been a lash obsessed gal so I’m definitely intrigued by their fiber lash mascara. My only concern is I have sensitive and also wear contacts does this stuff start to flake into your eyes after a while?
I don’t have contacts, but I’ve heard positive reviews from people do! Personally, I didn’t notice any flaking once applied…it can definitely be a little messy WHILE applying, but afterwards, it was fine for the rest of the day!! 🙂 Thanks for reading, girlie!! XO
By far my favorite post! I love all the pics you have to show off the products. I’ve heard of Younique but never tried it. How does it compare to other brands? Is the bronzer build able without looking too fake? Thanks doll!
You’re so sweet, thank you! The quality of the products really was impressive. I was not expecting them to be as great as they were. A little bit of bronzer goes a long way. Hey thanks for the reply, does the concealer cake up at all and the lip color ever dry out lips?
I really have no complaints about the concealer — I haven’t noticed any caking + it lasts very well all day! The lip color has not dried out my lips, although I’ve been applying it over a lipstick…but it’s not sticky in the least – which I love!!
I love this! I would be all over this giveaway but sending things to Argentina is a nightmare + expensive so I’ll refrain lol. What a great post. They look like great products.

We loved your video! We’ve been wanting to do one too for our doggie subscription box reviews, but like you were, we are too nervous, LOL. I’ve been out of the makeup game for so long it seems! I’d love to try the fiber mascara. Being Asian, I have short straight lashes and it drives me crazy!
I’m the same way as you, I put my face makeup on before my eyes. I use MAC’s liquid liner to draw on my eyeliner and wing and then go over it with an actual eyeliner gel. MAC’s defiantly goes on over foundation and eyeliner, it just doesn’t have the staying power, hence the reason I go over it with a gel. 🙂

It’s been my go-to everyday since I received it. And I totallllllly hear you on the Younique/ItWorks…my personal favorite is Jamberry lolol. But I honestly + truly was pretty impressed with Younique! The mascara is great, but I think it’s comparable to other fiber lash products I’ve tried, but the bronzer + concealer are phenomenal. The lipgloss wears very well +makes for a perfect summer color. 🙂

I really want to try the concealer! I’ve had such a big problem trying to find one that gives me a lot of coverage because my skin can get really red and blotchy!
This concealer is really incredible! It’s very creamy + super high coverage. You honestly only need to use the tiniest dab. I’ve been using it almost every day – very very happy with the product!
I’ve yet to try Younique, but I’ve seen the products listed on Facebook via friends who are obsessed. I really should try it sometime… 🙂 Right now, I’m obsessed with Bare Minerals, but I have been on the search for new mascara!
