Happy Friday!! I’m SO excited to share an overdue Mix + Max post with you today!
Last week, I met up with the beautiful Oby, another blogger from Connecticut at a local pumpkin patch to shoot! She arrived in the most amazing Halloween-inspired outfit, but I opted for something a little more everyday!
I recently bought the coziest green sweater at Primark that I have been dying to wear, but have been struggling to find an appropriate time to break out. Once we made plans to shoot at this location, I knew it would be perfect. I paired it with my go-to damaged skinny jeans & a pair of brown booties that I tend to have a hard time styling. A traditional blanket scarf, some gorgeous pieces from Pandora’s Autumn collection, red lips, and red nails helped to pull it all together. Take a peek! 🙂
I couldn’t decide if I liked this outfit better with or without the scarf! Either way, it was so cozy & perfect for roaming around the pumpkin patch! The beautiful ring & earrings that I wore were from my friends at Pandora at the Danbury Fair Mall!
These earrings are so fun! The jackets are detachable, and for this look I just wore the sterling studs. You’ll see them worn together in another post soon! 😉
My red lips were a combo of two incredible Giorgio Armani lip maestro’s that I recently received from Influenster (you may have heard me chat about them in my recent YouTube video)!
These products apply like liquid velvet! They dry with a matte finish & have some incredible staying power. I cannot wait to wear them throughout the Christmas season! 🙂
Shop this entire look here:
Ribbed Bell Sleeve Sweater – Primark // Damaged skinny jeans – Macy’s // Chunky Heel Booties -Charlotte Russe // Blanket Scarf – KnitPopShop // Radiant Hearts Ring – Pandora // Dazzling Poetic Droplet Earrings – Pandora // Giorgio Armani Lip Maestro 400/201
This was such a cozy outfit & since finally putting this sweater into rotation, it’s been on repeat quite a bit!
XOXO
Girl, I am obsesssing over that sweater!!! Not only has army green been a favorite of my this season, but those flared sleeves are to die for!!! SUCH a cute look- definitely the perfect cozy outfit! Have a fabulous weekend!
Thank you love!! Same!! I was so excited about this sweater when I found it — they had it in a couple of other colors too, but I’ve been loving green this year. And yes, the sleeves were the selling point! I love how it works with jeans & leggings! Thanks for reading, have a wonderful weekend!!!! XO
Love how you tied in the red from the scarf with your lip color. That sweater looks so warm and cozy and I love your booties. It’s supposed to cool off a little in NC this weekend. Thank the lord! I want to be able to wear a cozy sweater and not burn up!
Thank you!! You’ve been one of my lipstick inspirations! I never used to wear bold colors & lately I can’t get enough of them!! And AMEN for cooler temps… hot weather in October just isn’t right! lol Happy weekend!!! XO
I know! They’re addicting. Once I stared wearing and buying bold shades, I couldn’t stop.
I love those earrings! I’m curious how it looks when you wear the whole piece – looking forward to seeing their debut 😉
Thanks Kell – they’re so fun!! The other outfit is a little more dressy! I love versatile pieces. 2 for 1! 🙂
LOVE THIS! I have been struggling pairing my booties with ANYTHING. I never know how to style them. This is really cute and I have a sweater similar with more of a tunic style..so you may have inspired me to wear my booties after all lol
YAY!!! I’m so glad!! 🙂 I find these dark brown ones hard to style, I’m not exactly sure why, but I feel like they don’t match with much. I’m glad they were able to get a little use! I’m so happy you may be able to wear yours too!! Let me know how it goes! 🙂 Happy friday! XOXO
The red looks so good on you!
Thank you so much! I’ve just started to really get into the bold lip thing! 🙂 Happy weekend!! XO
Looking great Amanda. Love that green sweater and the earrings. Have a great weekend! Xoxo
Thanks Gail!! You too! 🙂 XOXO
I love the sweater! It is basic, but …. perfect! I was looking at sweaters the other day and every one I liked I put back because they were so thin they were pretty much see through. This sweater is an absolute classic look that you can dress up or dress down. I love it! 🙂 Love the matching nails and lips, too 😉
Thank you!! It’s definitely a bit oversized, and photographed a little odd, but it really is so comfortable…and goes with leggings, so that was a selling point! I love the red lips – they didn’t make my teeth look too yellow like some red shades do! Really amazing products – I’m glad I got to try them!! Happy weekend!! XO 🙂
You look like you’re having so much fun and beautiful as always! I just bought a pair of jeans like that from Zara that I’m obsessed with.
Thanks Kristin!! We had a really fun time shooting! I’m actually in the market for some new damaged skinnies, I’ll have to check out their site! 🙂
Yes! There’s a Zara everywhere now. They weren’t even that expensive and great quality.
Love this! I needed a little Fall wardrobe coaching. Thanks! 🙂
