Happy Monday Ladies! Anyone else feel like the weekends disappear with a blink?! 😉
Last week, my girlfriend and I attended the re-grand opening of Lord & Taylor in Stamford! In about a years time they’ve completely renovated the space with upgraded floors, lights, and fitting rooms — it is absolutely stunning! It reminded me of a NYC department store!
They expanded both the mens & women’s departments and introduced dozens of new brands. The dresses department has nearly doubled in size (I saw some seriously gorgeous dresses) & now features a personal shopper! In addition, the cosmetics department has been renovated & expanded as well – hello makeup heaven!

We had a really fun girls night out! We did a little browsing (but I have got to go back before Christmas to get some real shopping in!), we met some cool people (Hey Victoria Justice! Who was very sweet BTW), we snapped fun photos all over the store, and ate some delicious bites!! The event was catered by Marcia Selden & the food could not have been any yummier! Did you see the photo of the salted caramel macaron with smoked gouda & candied bacon?! JAW DROP. Honestly the most amazing thing I’ve ever had in my life! The next day we were still talking about them & my girlfriend found this recipe online!! I am SO attempting to make these one day!
The event was a huge success & the store could not have looked any better! Thank you so much for having me, I will definitely be back!! 🙂

Thanks Brittany!! The cocktails & the food were incredible — so so yummy, I’m honestly still thinking about those macaron bites lol! And I AM SO WITH YOU! The holidays take their sweet time arriving and then come & go with a blink! It’s not fair, I wish they lasted longer! 🙁
