Happy FRIDAY! I’m so excited to share this tutorial with you today. Surely you’ve seen the super long and super straight hair that Kim Kardashian has been rocking over the last few months (it definitely reminds me of Cher’s signature 70’s style)! I’m not usually one to opt for a pin straight look, but I had to give this one a try!

Unfortunately, I have a serious cowlick. Like so serious. My hairline also has a bit of a widows peek (between the two, one side of my forehead seems significantly larger than the other…my boyfriend calls the combo my “Mickey Mouse Ear” LOL), so donning a middle part and pin straight hair can be tricky. However, not impossible!

When Macadamia Professional asked if I wanted to create a hairstyle with their Thermal Heat Protectant Spray, I knew over any other hot tool, a hair straightener would have to be involved! Nothing fries my hair quite like a flat iron, so I wanted to put their product to the test and figured this look was the perfect way to do it!

Take a peek at my how-to for this look on YouTube, (or watch it all go down in :53 seconds on Instagram!) 😉  & let me know your thoughts!

Thank you for reading/watching! This video was a lot of fun to create. The darker makeup and velvet choker definitely gave me some serious Kim K. vibes! 🙂 If you want to try the Macadamia Thermal Heat Protectant …or any Macadamia product for that matter, use code “SOCIAL20” through April 10th, 2017 for 20% off their entire site!

Please subscribe to my YouTube channel if you’d like…and if you’re on YouTube, leave me a link to your channel below so I can check it out!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Have you given the pin-straight look a try?

XOXO

  1. Loved your video girl!! You have some serious filming skills!!! AAA I need to get on your level! I love this look on you so much! However, you are seriously gorgeous with anything you do! You could put your hair up in one of those old beehive styles and you would still totally be rocking it and stunning haha!

I totally want to attempt this with my hair. I am not sure if it will look good or not. But what the heck, YOLO right?
