HAPPY FRIDAY! Earlier this week, I attended a really fun blogger event at Consignment Originals! They recently opened their SIXTH location in Connecticut, and how it’s taken me this long to make my way into one of their stores is be-yond me. I am a huge fan of both consignment shopping and selling and the CO team has set the bar pretty darn high.
I haven’t been to all of their locations (though I plan to), but from what I saw at the Manchester store, I have a feeling they’re all pretty fabulous. Many times, consignment stores can be dark, cluttered, and feel a little second hand. CO…not so much! The space was bright, clean, and organized. The staff couldn’t have been any more kind, the inventory was in spectacular shape and pretty vast, and the prices were very competitive – I’ll be honest, I was not expecting them to be!
We had fun mingling, browsing, taking part in a style challenge, and of course – shopping! I didn’t get to try on as many things as I would have liked (time flies when you’re having fun), but I did bring a few goodies home…and I will most certainly be back for more! Take a peek at some of the pictures from the event, and one of the fun outfit’s I put together below! XO
The top and shoes are mine, but the skirt and sunnies are from CO! The shades were $8.50 and the tweed, multi-colored Rachel Roy skirt (originally retailing $90) was only $7.25 — HELLO BECKY WITH THE GOOD SKIRT!! My style isn’t too crazy, I love to work with one bold piece and keep the rest pretty simple. I feel like this outfit definitely embodies that!
Thank you so much to Consignment Originals for inviting me to your wonderful event, for letting my sis tag along, and for introducing me to some really fabulous local ladies! If you live in Connecticut, you MUST visit Consignment Originals ASAP! (Avon is next on my list …Chanel bags anyone!?) 😉
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend & Happy Mother’s Day to all of the Mama’s out there!
