I am so, so excited today because my new website is officially LIVE! This re-design has been something I’ve dreamt about for a very long time, and I cannot believe it’s right here in front of me. It’s actually REAL!

New layout, new logo, all new everythang! I definitely didn’t do this by myself, I have to give credit where it is due…and believe me, you’re going to want to know who the talented women behind these pages are…

So the first thing you may have noticed…my adorable new logo (fun fact: I never really had an old logo. I had a makeshift graphic that I suppose got the job done). This custom hand lettered design was created by the talented Anamarie Francisco of Crafted. by Anamarie. She’s a fellow Connecticut gal and started her business with calligraphy services for weddings and events, but has since expanded into brand styling and social media consulting for small businesses.

We connected a few months ago and when I was getting ready to revamp, I knew that she would be the one to bring my ideas to life!

Anamarie is so talented, and kind – she made the design process fun and seamless for me. After our initial consultation, she sent over a brief questionnaire to help better understand my brand and my vision. We utilized Pinterest for inspiration, and once she had a clear grasp of what I had in mind, she began drafting some concepts. She sent over three designs and I immediately fell in love with one of them! It only took a few minor tweaks to create exactly what I wanted and I could not be happier with the final result – it’s clean, cute, and playful. It’s perfect.

Anamarie creates the most beautiful hand lettered items and has such a natural eye for design. Her work is unparalleled. If you’re in need of any sort of visual styling for your brand (or an upcoming event), you must reach out to her. I have a feeling I’ll be reaching out to her again in the future!

Now the site itself was brought to life by Bren, an actual ANGEL! I had been so terrified about this entire migration, self-hosting, re-design process that I just put it off (for far too long). When it was time to bite the bullet, I consulted some other bloggers for advice and asked who they’d recommend working with. Lindsey (The Southern Elle) referred me! She said that she had just migrated her site with no headaches… thanks to Bren. Let me just say, from the very first e-mail exchange I knew this woman was going to take care of everything and anything that I needed. And she did. I am so grateful for her patience, her expertise, her professionalism, and her punctuality. This has been such a positive and stress-free experience, and I credit her for that. I would have never been able to do this without her!

There are also a few new images floating around these pages! If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, you know that I recently did a shoot with my girlfriend, and fellow Connecticut blogger, Oby Grace. She snapped some gorgeous photos that really bring this site to life. I uploaded one of the looks we shot, and there will be a couple more coming soon! I love that this website was 100% built by women! I cannot thank these ladies enough, each of their talents and skills helped to create something that I am so excited and proud to call mine. I think it’s ironic that I’m re-launching in June…my birthday month. A new look for a new year seems fitting to me. Here’s to continuing to learn, to build, to grow, and to blog!
