I’m excited to introduce you to a new line of skincare products today: innisfree. innisfree is Korea’s #1 beauty brand, and they are about to launch in the United States! I’ve had a few weeks to test some of the products in their line and have been anxious to give you the scoop!
I was sent these products through the Preen.Me VIP program in collaboration with innisfree, but all of the following opinions are my own. 🙂
First things first, a bit about the brand in their own words: innisfree’s naturally-derived skin care formulas are created from 15 ingredients responsibly-sourced from Jeju island, a beautiful oasis and natural reserve off the coast of the Korean peninsula, covered in nutrient and mineral rich volcanic clay, lush green tea fields, and wild orchids. Their products are fun, effective and affordably priced.
Alright, onto the goods!!
Intensive Hydrating Serum with Green Tea // I do not regularly use a serum, so this was new for me! It’s a very lightweight gel-like formula that soaks right into your skin! I don’t particularly love the scent, but it does fade after a bit. I actually really like how this product wears and have noticed a little bit of a difference in my skin and they way that it feels at the end of the day since adding it into my routine!
Youth-Enriched Gel Cream With Orchid // I’ll be honest, I’m not the biggest fan of how this cream smells either, it has a hint of masculine odor that I don’t particularly care for in a face product. However, it wears pretty well. Like the serum, you’re supposed to be pat it gently into your skin for full absorption. At first there seems to be a tacky residue on the face, but that does eventually go away once the product has completely soaked/dried. Gel lotions never feel like they’re providing enough hydration to my skin (even if they might be), so I have been applying my regular moisturizer afterwards if I’m planning to wear makeup.
Pore Clearing Clay Mousse Mask With Super Volcanic Cluster // This mask is incredibly lightweight and instantly cools your skin! It’s actually one of the easiest and most refreshing masks I’ve used to date. It gently exfoliates the skin and focuses heavily on pore reduction. I love the way it’s packaged and how effortless the application is. I’ve used it a handful of times, but will be keeping it in rotation.
I’m having a lot of fun with this line and love that they use natural ingredients. They brand is eco-friendly, they have something for all skin types, and the products are very affordable! I’ve always been pro-chemical ridden face and body products, but the more I learn about all natural options, the more intrigued I am. Like everyone else, I’m getting old and while I don’t want to completely freak out about an aging face, I do want to make sure I’m doing as much as I can to keep it looking healthy and youthful!
A video will be going up on Instagram later tonight or tomorrow demonstrating these products, so be sure you’re following my account so you can see them in action! 🙂
I feel like this brand is unlike anything else on the market and I’m so glad I was introduced to it. I hope you guys enjoyed this post and that you were introduced to something new as well!
XOXO
I’ve heard of this brand! I really want to try it!
It’s pretty great! I love the clay mask and have been using the serum every night! Everything is really affordable, I’d definitely recommend you try!! 🙂 XO
I don’t use serums regularly either, but I know I should! I need to get that mask. I’m all for anything clears pores.
