Eeeek! Happy Halloween Weekend!! I used to be the girl who would shop for material and start crafting her one of a kind Halloween costume weeks, sometimes months in advance. In recent years, I’ve been lucky enough to even make it out of the house …never mind the clever costume!

I really do miss designing my own costumes and hope to one day get IT TOGETHER AGAIN…maybe when I have kids?! But until then, I’m joining the population of those who scrounge to throw something together at the very last minute. SO! If you have some kind of Halloween event to attend this weekend and still have N-O-T-H-I-N-G to wear, you’ll want to keep reading.

I wanted to put together 3 costume ideas that were cute, easy, and manageable for anyone of any age. Some of the Halloween makeup tutorials I’ve seen have completely blown my mind; they are absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, I know dang well…girlfriend does not have skills like that. So these looks are for us regular folk. 😉

The rockstar is fun and always a safe bet. The Ice Queen (…is that even a thing?! lol) was just me trying something different…although it kind of looks like an alien?! But my favorite, favorite, favorite, was the scarecrow! I just adore that one; the makeup is too easy and I love that all you need is a hat, a flannel, some denim, and boots! I think it’s just the cutest little costume. If you’re going to try it out, a matte lipstick is key for the face makeup — it’s not sticky, it won’t smudge, and it looks the best on skin.

What are your Halloween plans? And what are you dressing up as? Tell me about your clever costumes below! 🙂

Have a safe & Happy Halloween!

XOXO
