Happy Sunday Everyone! Last week was definitely a hectic one. Monday gave me a dang near mental breakdown. I woke up knowing it was going to be a challenging day and was ready to tackle it head on, but things kept going wrong left and right. UGH!
I was so happy to go to sleep that night and wake up mentally prepared to not take any bologna on Tuesday… and to be honest, I think my attitude adjustment worked. That whole law of attraction thing is pretty powerful, because the rest of the week took an incredible upwards turn. A handful of great opportunities fell into my lap and amazing things happening for the people I love too. It’s crazy how life works like that sometimes. Whenever you feel like you’re being tested, you must know that it’s happening for a reason. It’s preparing you for something bigger and something better!
Ok, enough ranting onto my not-so-fashionable week! 😉

Overall, it was a pretty casual week; my favorite, favorite, favorite look was Thursdays — I just loved all those layers.
I hope you’ve all been enjoying your weekend! Friday I went to get my hair done and after the major chop debate (no chop) I ended up getting a fun little side bang! I never thought I’d be able to have one due to my aggressive cowlick, but my hairdresser/girlfriend, Jackie was confident it could be done and totally killed it! It came out so cute and I can’t wait to start styling it in fun ways. 🙂
After my appointment, she and I had nice GNO. I picked my boyfriend up at the airport later on (aka at midnight – ZzZ); he was in LA for some craaaazy amazing things last week!! Yesterday we laid low and then last night I met up with my girl Lauren for a fun little Halloween celebration.
Today I’m heading to my Aunt and Uncle’s house for a family get together which I’m really looking forward to – I haven’t seen some of my cousins in a couple of months! It’s been a busy, but fun few days to say the least!
I hope you guys enjoy the rest of your Sunday; don’t ya wish the weekends could last just a little bit longer?!
XOXO
Thursday is my favorite too! And $4.99???? Yess please! Looks like you had a great week and weekend. Excited to see what this week has in store for you!!! XO
Omg I know!! I want to get another one- I wish it was on sale in the other colors! 😭 Last week definitely started out pretty rough, but ended on a high note, I can’t complain. ❤️🙏🏼 I hope you had a nice week & weekend too!!! Enjoy the rest of your Sunday! Xoxo
Loved the looks of the week! I’m torn between Wednesday and Thursday being my faves. I love the comfy look of Tuesday also. The bangs look awesome! I have been struggling FOREVER to figure out how to wear mine. I cut them; I try to grow them; I cut them again … I have a natural wave that’s getting more pronounced the older I get, and I also have a killer cowlick that I cannot tame, no matter what. I’m currently in the process of figuring out how to make those two things work for me. I’m determined to figure something out. 🙂 Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
You look adorable with bangs! I’ve always wanted them, but my cowlick is pretty cranky too. How do you style yours? Which hot tools? Do you flat iron, curl or blow dry them? She blew mine out perfect Friday, but I have to wash today & I’m scared I’m I’m going to make a mess! Maybe a hot roller?? I hope you have a great rest of your weekend Connie!! ❤️ Xoxo
You’re too sweet! Thanks for the compliment! I start by blow drying them, but I end up having to go back with a big curling iron to finish the job. More of a problem for me is my natural wave. I can “style it away,” but if I sweat or if it rains, I’m done for. 😳 You should see me then. It’s hysterical!
Ahhh!! I know exactly what you mean, my hair will be done but the second I go outside in any kind of wind, rain, heat… it’s a mess! And I think the large curling iron is the move, I used one this morning on the bang and I really like how it came out!! Thanks for your tips!! 🙂
Friday is def my favorite look
