Michaels Jewelers Holiday Gift Guide + $250 GIVEAWAY!

The holidays are going to be here in a BLINK and I don’t know about you, but I really love getting my shopping out of the way! I always shoot to wrap things up before Thanksgiving (no pun intended). 😉 

Luckily, Michaels Jewelers is helping shoppers get that head start and save big. I recently popped into their Danbury location and was greeted by Donna, the fabulous GM. She was so friendly and incredibly helpful! She walked me through the store, showed me everything worth seeing (which was literally everything!) and she kindly answered all of my questions! After I became familiar with the inventory, I went back and started to pull some of my favorite pieces! As you’ll see, I definitely have a preferred “style” when it comes to jewelry, but I think a lot of women will have similar taste. Jewelry tends to be more of a luxury gift item, but I did try to hit all price points. So without further ado, take a peek at my carefully curated gift guide!

To start, let’s touch on the men! Watches are a great go-to gift and Michaels has a ton of them. I wanted to select four pretty different pieces that would cover most mens styles! I think there’s a little something for the sporty, sleek, casual, and classic guys on your list.

My brother is a a pretty big watch connoisseur so I had him scope these out! He was definitely partial to the Luminox. He loved the design, functions, and the fact that they used titanium for the case making it incredibly light, as well as tritium to illuminate the markers – meaning the number and hands glow without ever being exposed to light first! Personally, I love the black Bulova – I like a simple and sleek look. The Citizen makes a perfect everyday watch, and the Blova Curv is unique because, like it’s name, it actually curves to perfectly fit your wrist (the hands curve too)!

Now, I didn’t want to get too into mens jewelry and accessories, because we all know that holiday jewels are for the ladies! 😉 I’ll admit, I had a little too much fun browsing, trying on, and hand picking some pieces that caught my eye! I really wanted to gather a good mix of materials, stones, and prices for everyone. Wait until you see these beauties!!

I don’t want to speak for all women, but when it comes to Christmas gifts, we’re usually pretty happy with jewelry. 😉 This Diamond & Emerald necklace is absolutely stunning and perfect for the holidays. The red ring is a semi-precious garnet and it mayyy be my favorite piece of them all! It looks so gorgeous on. The Sapphire & Diamond statement ring is a gorgeous piece and while it is a bit flashy, I think it’s something that can be worn on a more regular basis.

I love pearls, I think they’re so classic and elegant…and they happen to be my birthstone! You’ll see some more of them later on in this post. 😉 These particular earrings are beautiful and definitely a steal for less than $100. The bracelet is also a stunner – it’s a fun twist on the usual tennis bracelet. It looks amazing on it’s own, but is just as gorgeous when paired with a watch, bangle, and other wrist accessories.

Okay, this baby is definitely a fave. I absolutely love dainty gold pieces – I think a lot of girls do! These delicate accessories have really been on trend the past couple of years and are perfect for everyday wear! If you’re looking for a gift that will get a lot of use and can be worn on the most simple and elegant of occasions…this is it!

 Morganite Necklace $625

Who remembers glamor photos?! They weren’t really my era, but I remember seeing shots of family members/family friends and thinking they were so fun! That’s what this photo totally reminds me of LOL! The gorgeous necklace I have on is a morganite…one of my favorite stones. It’s got a beautiful diamond halo and hangs on a delicate rose gold chain. Michaels has some magnificent morganite pieces which made it really hard to choose which to feature; but this necklace is exquisite.

I told you we’d be coming back to pearls! I had to include a pair of simple studs and a full strand – these are classic pieces for any jewelry box. The Black Pearl & Diamond necklace is a beauty and a fun twist on the traditional white pearl. But what I really loved were these drop earrings – they are absolutely stunning.

Ruby & Diamond Necklace $1,750

For a more glam holiday gift, this Ruby & Diamond necklace is a winner. I paired it with the beautiful ring from above and loved the combo. 🙂 This is the same style necklace as the emerald one featured at the top of this post and is just as stunning, I’m really not sure which I love more!

Sterling & Diamond Bow Necklace $119

I saw this bow and could not not include it! Not only are bows super feminine, girly, and cute, but they’ve always been a favorite of mine…even my logo has one! 🙂 This sterling necklace has a few tiny diamonds in the center and is very reasonably priced! I think it’s adorable…I wish it came in gold too!

Alright, I had to save the best for last! The Christmas season is most popular for engagements, so I had to include a couple of Michaels beautiful diamond rings.
