Hello, December! I honestly cannot believe you’re here already. How in the world has an entire year gone by already?! It’s actually unbelievable, time flies. I am so glad that I’ve kept up with these monthly favorites posts. They are so fun to put together and I love sharing them with you!

Some months are more difficult than others when it comes time to pick my faves, but this month was a breeze. There was such a great assortment of beauty products, hair products, clothes, nail polish, and more, that it was actually kind of hard to narrow it down!  Check it all out. 🙂

Olay Eyes Deep Hydrating Eye Gel. I took the Olay 28 Day challenge in November, and am so glad I was introduced to this product. It’s very easy to use and feels incredible beneath my eyes. A full recap of the challenge and my thoughts will be on the blog soon!!

Mock-Neck Bouclà Sweater. I hadn’t shopped for myself in SO long, but since I did quite a bit of closet cleaning the last few months, I was in need of a few new pieces…specifically sweaters. I found this one at Old Navy; it’s ridiculously comfortable, I love the mock neck, and it’s perfect with jeans, but it’s also long enough to cover your tush in leggings! Win win.

Total Temptation Mascara. AHHHH!! You knew this one was coming! This is officially my new favorite mascara. I’ve been wearing (and loving) it every single day and cannot stop raving (I even ordered a few tubes to give away as Christmas gifts! I’m thinking of doing a giveaway too. Stay tuned). It’s apparently not available in stores until January but if you can’t wait, you can order it online here! I chat a little more about the Total Temptation line in this post. 🙂

Burt’s Bees Baby Fair Isle Pajamas. I was never much of a pajama person, but I am so in love with this pair! They are so comfortable, I love the fit, the holiday print is adorable…and my cousin Kelley helps design them!!! These are the absolute cutest and I love that I’m able to wear both pieces together, on their own, and both indoors or out!

Julep Cushion Complexion 5-in-1 Skin Perfector with Turmeric. I am so happy with this product! I was sent the entire collection and wasn’t sure what to expect. After finding which colors best matched my skin (Cashmere for blemish coverage & Alabaster for under eye highlight) I was blown away. They are so easy to use, very blendable and have wonderful coverage! I highly recommend if you’re in the market; you can watch them in action in this Instavideo

Mexican Mule. I love including food in my monthly favorites because who doesn’t love food?! I did a collaboration with Barritt’s Ginger Beer in November and initially thought it was just going to be a fun opportunity to whip up some new drinks. Little did I know I would discover my new favorite cocktail ever!! This drink is so, so yummy and I’ve made quite a few of them this month. You must try it out! Click here for the 3 ingredient recipe.

Dirty John Podcast. I’m a podcast junkie and listen to so many of them. I finished this 6 episode show in 2 days and oh my goodness, what a crazy story! It was so bizarre, infuriating, sad…it was a mix of high and low moments and a whole lot of “WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU DEBRA!!!!!”

Did anyone else listen?!

Cote Chi Quinoa Holding Hairspray & Paul Mitchell Invisible Wear Volume Whip. My hair dresser is always hooking me up with the fun stuff, the good stuff, and the new stuff! This hairspray she actually gave me months ago, but I hadn’t used it until recently. I really love how it works, it gives the perfect hold. Before I blow dry, I always need to apply some kind of volumizing mousse. She gave me this Volume Whip from Paul Mitchell and so far so good! 🙂

Bare Minerals “Swag” Liquid Lip and Milani “Nude” Lip Liner. I love, love, LOVE this lip combo! I raved about it in this video, but I must reiterate how gorgeous these two products are together. I’ve used the liner for years, but when paired with the matte lip, it’s perfect!

Gelish “Dear Johnny Green” and “I’m Snow Angel”. This is the first month I had a really hard time picking my favorite manicure; I enjoyed both of these colors in November. Unfortunately, I don’t think either is available anymore as they were from seasonal collections, but there are so many similar shades out there. Don’t underestimate forest green!

And that’s it for November! This may have been one of my favorite “Favorites” months of the year – there was just so much to love and so many great new products. I know I mentioned it  above, but I really cannot believe that 2017 is coming to an end. It has been such a wonderful year for me, even though it doesn’t always feel like it! When you’re living the day to day and focusing on the goals ahead, it’s hard to see how far you’ve come. When I take a step back and really take a look at the things I’ve accomplished it’s pretty cool.  I can’t wait to write a recap at the end of the year!
I hope you guys enjoyed my faves, share some of the things you were loving in November below!
XOXO

  1. Thanks for the podcast recommendation! That one sounds like something I could most definitely get into. I did the Minimalist Challenge in November, and ended up purging 281 things! (None of which I miss!) I will admit I didn’t quiiiite follow their method and there was one random day in the middle of the month where I got rid of like 100 things and then forgot about altogether it for a week or so. But OMG it feels amazing, and I think I have some good momentum going. I’m really enjoying their weekly podcast too.

    • Ahh! I love that you took a stab at the challenge! I did the same in Nov — went HAM a few days and racked up a little over 300 (mostly old mail LOL). Isn’t is amazing how much stuff you don’t even realize you have … and end up not missing it at all?! Love that! And you must check out Dirty John so freaking strange, but a quick listen!! Thanks for reading gf – have a great weekend XOXO
