WARNING: I’ve backlogged a few fabulous beauty products over the last month that I’ve been itching to share. This post features the first of many new goodies that’ll be headed your way! 😉

So fun story (not really lol), a few weeks ago I was out shopping for a lightweight foundation or BB cream for Summer, I’m not a big fan of foundation this time of year. I’m not sure why, but it always looks extra cake-y…especially if my face catches a little tan. I was unable to find anything that caught my eye, and I really don’t think BB cream is a thing anymore (seriously, who still makes BB cream?! I couldn’t find any!) I went home defeated. But the next day, a lovely little box from First Aid Beauty arrived at my doorstep. Inside was exactly what I was in search of…but even better.

Preen.Me sent a couple shades of First Aid Beauty’s Ultra Repair Tinted Moisturizer with Broad Spectrum SPF 30 to try. I hadn’t used a tinted moisturizer in years and I didn’t think to look for one!

This product is perfect. It’s lightweight, creamy formula offers light/medium, (but even) coverage. It blends right into your skin and when used in conjunction with a concealer for stubborn spots, setting powder and a little bronzer…you’ll find yourself with a dang near flawless complexion.

I’ve been using the Profusion Cosmetics Highlight & Contour book as well as their Day Face palette to create a simple, summery, everyday look!

I love using the Shade Contour to (obviously) contour, but to bronze as well! I apply Impulse and/or Heartfelt to my cheekbones, down my nose, on my cupids bow, and to the inner corner of my eye. With the Day Face palette, I’m able to create a soft, warm, neutral brown eye look. The palette comes complete with both shimmer and matte shadows for you to work with as well as a bronzer, a highlight, and two brow powders. Again, these products are very affordable, definitely not the most well packaged, but they work. I really enjoy their line and use one of their products everyday; I’ve been adoring this particular look! 🙂

I haven’t been ready for a YouTube return just yet, (hopefully soon), but I shared a quick video tutorial on Instagram last night. Check it out here:

These products are all going to be in rotation this Summer, the tinted moisturizer especially. If you’re in the market for something similar, I’d highly suggest you browse their shade selection and try it out for yourself. As for the Profusion products, that brand has been so good to me and they always hook me up with their latest and greatest! They sent me two additional palettes (the two I shared above) which I’m going to be giving away on Instagram!

Here’s how to enter:

  1. Make sure you’re following me on Instagram: @_amandabella
  2. Like my latest video tutorial featuring the Profusion products
  3. Tag a friend in the comments!

I’ll announce & contact the winner via IG on Monday 7/2/18!

Thank you all for reading! Some more Summer makeup must-haves are coming to the blog soon; a primer, concealer, facial mist, setting powder, lipstick, bronzer, and more. Can’t wait to introduce you to them all. In the meantime, leave me a comment letting me know if you’ve fallen in love with any new products this season.

Have a great weekend, friends!

XOXO

  1. This is a great post! The only brand that I know that makes a BB cream is NYX cosmetics! It’s pretty light in coverage, but makes your skin look like skin! I never knew that First Aid Beauty made one! Do you think it’s worth the price? The one from nyx is about $10, so the first aid one seems a bit steep! Great post Amanda xxx

    • Ohh how’d I miss the NYX one!? That sounds so good. I used to love the Garnier BB cream, but I cannot find the medium/dark shade anywhere anymore. Only the light. 🙁 I really love this one, but it sounds like the NYX works very similarly! I’m almost out of my FAB, so I think I’ll try that one next…always on the hunt for cheaper dupes! Thanks for the recommendation. Have an awesome weekend GF! XOXO

    • Ohh! I haven’t tried! Thanks for the heads up! I used to love one of their concealers way back when. Haven’t used any Lorac in years! May have to revisit. Speaking of visit, you need to make a US trip and stock up on all your faves!! XO

  2. Yes I do need to make a visit and stock up on survival supplies hahahaha! I like Lorac because it’s full coverage but not all heavy you know! <3
