Oh my gosh has this been a MONTH. In a word, March 2020 has been bizarre. We are living through a major moment in history that’s equal parts frightening and fascinating. Daily life has been significantly disrupted, schools, stores, bars, and restaurants are closed, and we’ve been confined to our homes in an effort to stop the spread of the Corona virus.
While I’m very grateful that my day to day hasn’t changed too much, I do miss many of the normalities of life. Like most, I’m trying to keep myself occupied, productive, and on some kind of regular schedule. With that said, it’s time for another monthly favorites post! Keep reading to see a few of the fashion, beauty, and everyday items that I loved in March.
SWEATPANTS! We’ve all been living in them… and this green pair from Target has been my go-to lately. I’m wearing a medium! Find them here and in plus sizes here!
HEATED BLANKET. I purchased this back in February and can’t believe I’ve lived my whole life without it. We’re putting in some extra couch time and this makes Netflix binges and movie marathons 10X more cozy! I have the Sunbeam throw blanket in a grey chevron print, but there are a ton of other colors/patterns/sizes!
AMAZON SWIM. All but one of the swimsuits that I packed for Aruba were from Amazon. Each was so affordable, flattering, and perfect for vaca! I absolutely loved them all – and the sarongs too. Mint green bikini, pink bikini, baby blue one piece, short sarongs.
SKINFIX HAND LOTION. With all the extra hand washing, having a good hand lotion is a must. The Skinfix Hand Repair lotion has been my go-to lately. It is thick, creamy, odorless, and my hands haven’t been cracked or dry at all!
MINI COFFEE POT. My boyfriend and I have a Keurig machine and while it’s great, we wanted to be able to brew a few cups of coffee at a time. I ordered this small 5-cup Black & Decker coffee pot for Valentine’s Day and it’s been great! It makes about 3 full mugs worth (in my experience 2 coffee pot “cups” usually equals 1 mug).
CARLO ROSSI PAISANO. Many people stocked up on wine, beer, and liquor before quarantining and my beverage of choice (most of the time) is a glass of red wine. So before lockdown, I picked up a huge jug of Paisano – one of my favorite table wines; it goes down easy & doesn’t leave you with any headaches!
OZARK. What are you guys binging? Season 3 of Ozark was released last week and we had been patiently waiting for it! We’ve only watched 4 of the 10 new episodes, but oh my gosh it’s getting soo good!!
BLISS VITAMIN C + TRI PEPTIDE SKINCARE LINE. I started using the eye cream, serum, and moisturizer from this line a few weeks ago and have been loving them! Last year I discovered that my skin responds well to Vitamin-C products so I was excited to get these into rotation. They feel great and I love the way they smell — going to try and use them til they’re empty!
LIVESTREAMING. I did my first livestream on YouTube last week and it was honestly a blast. I did a LIVE Mani With Me and invited my subscribers, friends, family members, (anyone who was interested) to paint their nails with me! I received such positive feedback and am going to try and stream more regularly. Next one is going to be THIS Thursday – April 2nd, 2020 at 8:00PM EST. THE PERFECT NEIGHBOR by Sarah Pekkanen. I brought this book on vacation and read it in 2 days – I wanted something light for the beach! It was a really easy read and the plot could have been a storyline right our of Desperate Housewives. It wasn’t the best book I ever read, but compared to the other one I read this month (Bring Me Back by B.A. Paris), I think I enjoyed it more. Or maybe it was because I read it on a beach…
SALLY HANSEN GIVE ME A TINT. My favorite mani of the month HAD to be this one! The Sally Hansen Color Therapy Sheer collection is gorgeous and this specific shade was not only a favorite of mine, but a huge hit with many of you as well (used it in this video)! The soft white shade has a hint of lavender making it the perfect Spring polish!
