Hey guys! Quickly wanted to pop in today to chat about one of the products that has been saving my hair over the past few months (well, years if we’re being honest)!

This post was sponsored by Gray Away as part of an Influencer Activation and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

As many of you know, I have a very special relationship with my hairdresser. I see her every 4 weeks (religiously) to have my roots colored. Like many women, I have some gray hairs. I started noticing a gray or two when I was in college and ever since, they’ve done nothing but multiply.

Unfortunately, the majority of my grays frame my face – which makes them incredibly noticeable as they grow in. Regular salon visits help keep things under control but in between appointments (or in the middle of a global pandemic) being able to touch up those roots myself is crucial!

Over the years, I’ve used root powders, sprays, crayons, markers, mascaras… you name it, I’ve tried it. Most of these products are messy, heavy, or difficult to use – except the Gray Away Temporary Root Concealer Spray. It’s easy to control, it applies light, airy, evenly, and leaves me with natural looking roots! I’m so glad salons are open again – I’m due for another coloring soon (my hair grows SO fast in the Summer), but until then, this stuff has been saving me! Here are a few before & afters using the Gray Away spray.

I love how seamlessly this blends (I use the shade Light Brown, the Medium is a little too dark for my hair). Of course it’s tricky to cover every single hair (you don’t want to use TOO much product) so sometimes I’ll go back with the Gray Away Root Touch-Up Quick Stick for additional coverage (PS: that product is great for filling in eyebrows too)! But usually, a few sprays on my grays is just right for me. My hair is on the thin/fine side so when the product hits the scalp it gives the illusion of thicker, fuller hair (which I certainly don’t mind)!

A few more reasons why I love Gray Away Temporary Root Concealer Spray:

  1. It’s QUICK & EASY to use.
  2. It simplifies my hair care routine in between colorings (one application lasts until my next wash)!
  3. It helps me save some ca$h money by providing salon quality results at home. It also allows me to wait a week or two between appointments.
  4. It’s affordable and available at Walmart (I’m always popping into that store so it’s super convenient)

I always keep a can on hand, it’s the only root concealing product that I can count on for consistent coverage and the confidence I need between salon visits! If you’re in the market for a new root cover up, give the Gray Away Temporary Root Concealer Spray a try – I don’t think you’ll be disappointed! Thanks so much for reading, I hope you found this helpful. Let me know what hair care products you’ve been loving lately (I’m in the market for a new shampoo, suggestions are welcome!)

XOXO
