In the spirit of making blogging fun again, I’m bringing back favorites posts! At least for September. I had a handful of random things that I truly loved this past month and I wanted to share them in a September round up…so let’s get into it! 🙂

PUR 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Makeup (Golden Medium/MN5)
I was mesmerized by a video of someone using this and I had to try it. It wears very similar to the Bare Minerals Original Foundation powder, but it’s pressed…and a bit easier to use! I apply it directly to my face with a brush instead of a liquid foundation or BB cream. It covers small acne scars and redness so well! I pair it with my concealer and bronzer and love the natural look. If you’re looking for an easy, low maintenance, everyday face product – check this out!

I’ve been using a Wet Brush for years, but recently switched over to the Pro Flex. I can’t even explain how much better it is than the original! It’s far more gentle on my hair, excellent at detangling, and way easier to clean! I have so many good things to say about it.

While on the subject of hair, the Root Lift spray from Living Proof works some serious miracles. Spritz this onto damp roots and activate it with heat for some major volume. For anyone looking to achieve a more voluminous hairstyle – you need to try it. I’m not sure how I’ve lived this long without it!

Dose of Colors Velvet Mousse Lip Duo (STONE)
When it comes to lips, I have to use a lip liner/lipstick combo and this one has quickly become a new favorite. The liner is so creamy and easy to apply, the mousse lipstick goes on very silky and smells delicious! The combo withstands food & drink and I absolutely love this color. It’s been a go-to as of late!

Trader Joe’s Elote Corn Chip Dippers
Ok, here’s a random one, but I’m starting to frequent Trader Joe’s more often. I had these on a running list of “Foods to buy at TJ’s” that I keep on my phone. I picked them up earlier in the month and WOW they are so tasty. Think Frito’s Scoop coated in a semi-spicy seasoning. If you’ve never had them, put these on your shopping list ASAP.

The Perfect Couple, Elin Hilderbrand
I always love to include a book in these round ups and this was such a great read! It was the first Elin Hilderbrand book I ever read and I absolutely loved it. A quick synopsis: there’s a fabulous wedding planned for 4th of July weekend in Nantucket, the Maid of Honor is found dead the morning of, and dozens of secrets begin to come to light as the police try to figure out what happened. A great beach read!

My Shawl!
I’ve mentioned a time or two that Jessica Simpsons is one of my all time favorite style icons. I loved her fashion in the early 2000’s – especially her infamous shawl! After chatting with my Aunt Marsha at a BBQ back in July, she mentioned that she could totally crochet the shawl. We found a pattern and she was so kind to make one for me! I asked to use a more neutral colored yearn (vs. Jessica’s mustard) and I absolutely LOVE it! I’ve been wearing it all of the time, and I know that it’s going to be a wardrobe staple in the coming months! 🙂 Here’s a link to the pattern if you’re interested!

I had to include my cuticle oil because I don’t think my nails have ever looked better than they have this past month! They’re so healthy, long, and in beautiful shape. I have to give credit where it’s due and I know that my regular use of SA has made all the difference. 🙂

There were a few favorite manis in September, but I cannot get enough of this light pink! I’ve loved it for months now, but after revisiting it this month, I fell in love all over again. If you’re looking for that perfect milky white/creamy pink – this gel polish is for you! PS: It comes in regular polish too!
That’s it for this month! 🙂 I love rounding up favorites and think that it’s only fair to share them with others. I just posted a YouTube video chatting and demonstrating some of these products too – check it out on my channel!
Let me know if there was anything you loved in September! XOXO
