Do you guys switch up your makeup as often as I do? There are a handful of products that I use on the daily, repurchase over again, and have no desire of replacing (ex. my e.l.f. eyebrow pencil). However, when it comes to others…I’m down to venture!

Over the past few months, I’ve been playing around with my makeup routine a lot. I’m in my mid-thirties now and I’ve come to realize that the more makeup I wear, the older I look. Especially when I use cream and liquid products. I’ve been retiring most of my foundations and BB/CC creams as of late, but I’m not swearing them off forever! For some reason they’re not wearing like they used to, I notice they settle into my creases and don’t hold up as well throughout the day.

With that said, you’d think powder would be the last thing I turn to, but I swear, there is some kind of crack in bareMinerals makeup that just jives with my skin. I really don’t know why I stray from their line, but I love that I always find my way back. ◡̈

bareMineral sent me their Bare Pro 16-Hour Skin-Perfecting Powder Foundation a few months ago and after one use, I fell in love. It comes with a small compact sponge, but I prefer to apply it with a powder brush! It’s a sweat, humidity and transfer-resistant natural matte foundation that provides 16 hours of breathable full coverage — while visibly evening skin tone and texture over time. It reminds me very much of their original powder foundation but in compact form. It find it quick and easy to apply – and the way that it wears throughout the day is everything!

My recent makeup routine has consisted of my Maybelline Super Stay Active Wear concealer to spot treat any blemishes or dark spots, topped with the bareMinerals BarePro all over, followed by some bronzer (see it in action in this recent tutorial). It takes me minutes to do my basic everyday makeup and I find the results consistently flawless every time.

I’ve loved this product so much that when my original compact fell and cracked, I was determined to repair it (above) so I could use every last bit! If you have any broken compacts – blush, bronzer, powder, eyeshadow, highlighter, etc. watch and save this tutorial!

For anyone in the market for a lightweight product that simplifies your morning makeup routine while offering impressive coverage, consider giving this powder a try.

Have you used the bareMinerals BarePro powder? What do you think?

XOXO
