Welp. I’ve hit my annual style rut. Which means that WIWTW is returning to help inspire me! I’ve been trying to thumb through my closet and get some lesser-worn pieces back into rotation to determine if I really don’t like them… or if I’m just not wearing them! So that was this weeks goal – revisit some of the items that are collecting dust!
Monday 5/22/23: Woke up to sunshine and was craving something bright! I was heading into the office and wasn’t planning to wash my hair for another day or two, (and I did have some leftover weekend curls) so I figured it’d be a good hat day. Note to self: wipe down mirror later!

Tuesday 5/23/23: Today was a work from home/running errands day. I had higher hopes of a cuter look, maybe some fun denim… but I was really just craving some comfier pieces. I haven’t worn this top in a while – I forgot how lightweight and cozy it was! Milking one more day of this hair before washing tmw! PS: I cleaned the mirror ◡̈

Wednesday 5/24/23: Another work from home day, and holy gorgeous weather! It was sunny and 75 and I so wish I could have spent the day laying out. I got to wash my hair in the morning (which is always exciting), I shot some content, worked on a blog post, and then headed to the library in the afternoon to do some editing. I snagged one of the coveted window seats which made my day! ◡̈

Thursday 5/25/23: Friday Eve! Temps were a bit chillier on Thursday so here was my rain check jeans day from Tuesday! I also hadn’t worn this body suit in a while, I love a sleeveless mock neck. If I had to toss all but one pair of sandals, these would clearly be my keepers!

Friday 5/26/23: MDW ready! I got this dress two years ago and wear it SO much! It’s so light, easy to throw on, and there are ties on each side which make it adjustable. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like it’s available in this color anymore but there are a few other options! I had an early doctors appointment and then worked from home the rest of the day. My sister was in China for two weeks and came home late Thursday night so my family met up for pizza on Friday to welcome her back!

Saturday 5/27/23: Spent the morning relaxing and watching IG stories from the ERA’s show at MetLife the night before (my new favorite weekend activity) and then we went over to the my in laws for dinner! I’ve had this skirt for 3 years now and I often forget about it. It pairs great with tanks, bodysuits, and makes a perfect wrap at the beach! Also, after pulling my hair back in the morning I finally ordered one of those wax sticks and I cannot wait for it to arrive – my frizzy flyaways have been out of control.

Sunday 5/28/23: Woke up, watched some more ERA’s clips and then spent the day by the pool at my parents house with family! I didn’t wear a proper outfit, I just threw on my bathing suit and headed out! I don’t wear this one piece too frequently, but I wanted something basic to avoid any crazy tan lines since it was my first pool day of the season!

I hope that everyone is enjoying their Memorial Day! The weather in CT has been unreal. I’m planning to head back to the pool today to soak up the last of this holiday weekend! I’m really looking forward to reviving WIWTW and discovering LOTS of new outfit inspo! XOXO
