Back for week 5! Not the most exciting of weeks, but still trying to work my way through my closet and wear some less popular pieces (and some shoes other than my nude sandals!)
Monday 6/19/23: We had such a great (but really long) weekend celebrating my birthday and Father’s Day that on Monday I was honestly a little wiped! I kept it simple, all black with this cute new hat my sister-in-law got me for my birthday! I had it in my Amazon cart forever and I’m so excited to have a neutral baseball hat in my collection. The sneakers are also new (and match the hat perfectly!) I collaborated with the retailer, you can check out my recent post about them here…but I’m obsessed! They’re my new fave Summer sneaks!

Tuesday 6/20/23: I spent the entire morning cleaning out my office! We’re doing some re-arranging in our house so Dan is going to be brining his computer/office stuff in here with me. I have two desks so I was working to consolidate all of my things into one! I didn’t finish 100%, but I did make a ton of progress. I finally showered and got ready around 3pm before heading out to meet one of my girlfriends for dinner! I bought this romper for our honeymoon and it’s still one of my favorite, cute & comfy pieces!

Wednesday 6/21/23: Worked to continue getting the office in order in the morning, did some laundry, and waited for someone to come by the house to quote out a new tub for our bathroom. Then I dedicated the afternoon to Sweet Almond because it was our ONE YEAR anniversary!!! So proud of all we’ve accomplished in the last year. Not as proud of this outfit.

Thursday 6/22/23: This week is turning a bit more slacker than I hoped. The weather was a little off today – we were expecting showers on and off (and will be for the next NINE DAYS) so it was fairly chilly when I woke up. I went into the office and then came home to pack orders from Sweet Almond’s One Year Anniversary sale! Determined to make some more effort tomorrow. 🙂

Friday 6/23/23: This was a busy day! I had an early morning appointment, packed up the rest of the overnight orders, shipped them all, filmed a video (#OperationNailGrowth Round 2, Week 2 Update), then later in the day we went to visit our friends who just had a baby! 🙂

Saturday 6/24/23: Oh my gosh I had the most lovely, lazy, Saturday day ever! I didn’t get “ready” until probably 3:30 in the afternoon and my only outing was to the grocery store…so pretty low key look!

Sunday 6/25/23: We celebrated my nephews 4th birthday on Sunday! It was going to be super hot so I tried to find something comfortable and lightweight. I feel like this romper shrunk a bit in the wash – so I wrapped the flannel around my waist. Also opted for frenchies! Love pulling my hair back on warm days.

While these weren’t the cutest of outfits, I’m so happy I’ve been pulling out older, less worn pieces. We’ll see what the next week brings – as of right now it’s just looking like a LOT of rain.
