The first week of October is in the books and it’s really starting to feel like Fall around here! This past week was a busy one, but it ended with the most wonderful baby shower on Sunday afternoon!
Monday 10/2/23: After putting together last weeks WIWTW post, I woke up Monday morning determined to make a good effort! This dress is an oldie but a goodie – it was Charlotte Russe find from at least 6 years ago. I linked a similar maternity option, but it’s been a long time fave of mine. I tried the Sofia Richie bun tutorial and it worked (!), but I didn’t love how the hair underneath my bun looked so I ended up taking it down and doing it my own way. I’ll definitely give it another try one of these days though!

Tuesday 10/3/23: Such a productive day! I was working from home all day. I had a try on to film and by the time I got dressed, I kept it simple with my Aritzia bumpsuit and the chunkiest, coziest cardigan! It’s from Pinkblush and my 25% off coupon code “BELLA” is active sitewide through 10/26!

Wednesday 10/4/23: Working from home! Spent the day filming so I changed in and out of clothes a few times. Snapped this at a point in the day when I was wearing this dress because it’s just the cutest! I featured it on Instagram a couple of months ago and I’ve been wanting to pair it with sneakers. I think I’m itching for a hair chop soon. It’s been a couple of years, but I need a fresh cut! I’ll be thinking about it…
Thursday 10/5/23: Ok not my usual outfit, but I’m doing a collaboration with Ocean State Job Lot featuring these boots so I had to shoot them in the morning! I am OBSESSED with them! It’ll be on Instagram in the next week or so, but I had no idea I could find SUPER CUTE (and comfy) shoes at OSJL…and for the price!! Twenty five freaking dollars! Such a steal ◡̈

Friday 10/6 & Saturday 10/7 were a complete wash! It was pouring both days so I was in comfy sweats. On Friday I spent the day baking a bunch of treats for my baby shower and Saturday I was helping my Mom and sister set up for the shower all day! Just trust when I tell you there were no cute outfits to report.
Sunday 10/8/23: MY BABY SHOWER! Oh my gosh Sunday was the most perfect day! One of my girlfriends took a ton of photos and I think I’m going to try and work on a blog post recapping the day. It couldn’t have been more perfect. My Mom and sister did the best job!! I can’t get over these balloons!!!!! The weather was gorgeous, the room was gorgeous, the food was yummy and I had the best time celebrating our baby boy with my family and friends. ◡̈ I loved this dress so much when I saw it! It just screamed baby shower to me. I cried when I got dressed yesterday morning. It’s all feeling so so real!
Our home is currently full of adorable baby clothes, diapers, and equipment that need to be sorted, organized, and assembled… but I woke up Monday morning feeling so happy and grateful for the best friends and family! Do I say time is flying by every week? Because it really is. So much to do before Baby Hop arrives, but I’m still trying my best to soak up every single second. Hope everyone has a great week! XOXO
