My Mom has got to be the most incredible woman I’ve ever known. There’s really no questioning that. Continue reading
Happy Sunday! 🙂
Unfortunately, there’ll be no WIWTW today [I’m sorry!!] It’s been a crazy week + I’m in the process of moving out of my apartment – so my OOTD’s were reallllly not worth documenting. Instead, I wanted to share a little gift guide for Mom since Mother’s Day is just 2 weeks away! 🙂
Both sides of my family are Italian; my Mother’s family is from Ischia — a small Island off the coast of Naples, and my Father’s family is from Calabria, the Southern most point of the country + just a hop skip and a jump away from Sicily. We’ve been to Ischia before [it’s stunning] + actually took a quick day trip so my Dad could see this time around, but we were really excited to spend a little time in Calabria + explore our roots!
I wanted to share some photos from what was probably the most beautiful leg of this trip. We stayed in Sorrento for 4 days, and while there, we visited Pompeii, Capri, and Amalfi! I tried to choose just a few photos to share from each. 🙂

Happy Monday! 🙂
I cannot believe this is my last week in Italy! The time has flown by way too quickly. I had wanted to get this post up yesterday, but we spent the weekend traveling + it just wasn’t going to happen. 😦 So, a little Monday morning Rome-recap it is!
Oh my goodness, I could not get these pictures and this blog post uploaded + edited quick enough!
So by bumping my Italy trip up, it overlapped with my parents visit! Having this time with them has been so much fun + so incredibly special. Over the weekend, we all took a trip to Switzerland to see the alps, and WOW. It was hands down, the most beautiful place I have ever been…honestly, ever. The whole day from start to finish was basically magical.
Today, I wanted to share a few of the pictures I snapped + a quick video I threw together from the trip! Take a peek! –> Continue reading
Good Morning [afternoon] from Florence! 🙂
I am so happy to be in this adorable city with some of my favorite people! I’ve been to Italy a couple of times before, but never to Florence! Oh my gosh was I missing out. This just may be the most charming, quaint, and cozy little place you could ever travel to. I’ve been doing nothing but eating, snapping pictures, relaxing, drinking, eating, walking, sightseeing …and eating! 😉
I just wanted get a quick post up + share a few of the pictures I’ve taken since I’ve arrived!
