There are few things I love more than baking for holidays. Easter, Christmas, 4th of July, Halloween… I have so much fun preparing fun + festive treats! 🙂 Though I enjoy baking, I’m no pro + LOVE semi-homemade recipes. This past weekend, I made the cutest + tastiest salted caramel chocolate Halloween cupcakes!
I love traditions, my family has quite a few of them — but in recent years, I’ve started to create my own. Just small things that I look forward to doing or making by myself each year…and this recipe has become one of them.
I basically combined my favorite parts of two traditional Fall desserts to create the most delicious thing ever…
Apple Crisp Pie.
I love trying out new Pinterest recipes! While some turn out to be not so great (like my disaster last Memorial Day), others are a huge win (like this crowd pleaser that has become my go-to)!
I was in the market for an *easy* dessert recipe, and these skewers were exactly that!
Oh my goodness. I’m about to share with you what may possibly be THE most AMAZING cupcake I’ve ever made. The best part? You can totally make them too!
When it comes to cravings, I’m usually drawn to junk – sweets & salt. It’s very rare that I crave a salad…let alone one made of kale. However, THIS salad is so beyond delicious that the cravings are totally warranted.
It’s really easy to make, and unlike most, it will last in the fridge for a few days without getting too soggy – honestly, the longer it sits, the better it tastes.
I posted the original recipe with my modifications/preferences below 🙂
Bag of chopped kale
1/2 cup olive oil (I prefer a little less than this)
3 cloves of mashed garlic (About 2 tbsp. of minced)
1/4 cup lemon juice (I squeeze 1 whole lemon)
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Crushed red pepper to taste
Salt & pepper to taste
Put everything in a large bowl, cover, & shake it all up!
Seriously, the tastiest salad ever. The fact that even my super picky boyfriend requests it should be enough to convince you to give it a try!
Are you a kale fan? How do you like to prepare it?
