Happy Friday!! I’ve got a really fun throwback look to share with you today. This outfit reminds me of so many things. The moment I saw it, it seemed very J.Lo “I’m Real”, but the second I put it on, I totally felt like my Mom (Ange) in the early 80’s! I am positive I’ve seen a photo of my Mom with her Farrah Fawcett blow out wearing a dang near identical romper. Ange was an 80’s babe and whenever I see pictures of her from that time, I can’t help but wish she saved me some of her clothes!!
I used to be really weird about wearing anything that matched. By “matched”, I mean pieces made of identical fabrics and colors. Skirts and blouses, pants and tops, even bikinis of the same print totally irked me…can’t really tell you why! However, over the past couple of years I’ve begun to really dig the matchy matchy thing and thank goodness for that, because this insanely adorable outfit may have never made it into my closet! 😉
Can Summer HOLD UP JUST A SECOND, please?! I cannot believe that tomorrow is already August. I have a bunch of things that I’m looking forward to in the coming month, but it’s always a bit depressing when Summer begins its inevitable departure. On the bright side, it’s not over yet! So lets soak up every last minute of the season. 🙂 Today I’m rounding up a bunch of my favorite things from July – there was quite a bit to love!
Happy FRIDAY — today I’m sharing a few more photos from my shoot with Oby! This dress was not something I’d usually gravitate towards, BUT I knew we’d just be frolicking around some essentially empty garden grounds and thought why not take this opportunity to shoot in something a little different, playful, and out of my comfort zone!

Oh my gosh, I almost had a heart attack. I knew this would happen to me one day, there have been so many close calls – I feel like the publish button is placed in the worst spot EVER on the WordPress dashboard! Oh well, life happens!
Anyways, on to this fabulous dress! The moment I saw Demure announce that they were going to be carrying this maxi this Summer, I knew I needed it. I fell in love the moment I saw it. This beauty arrived about two weeks ago, and rainy CT weather prevented me from snapping the beautiful, sunny photos it deserved. Luckily, Monday was a (sweltering hot, but) beautiful day and my sister nailed the shots!
