first single – Amanda Bella

I don’t know what it is about Spring/Summer, but it is nearly impossible for me to sit down and blog! I hope to start getting back into a posting routine, because I truly do love sharing things on here & it kind of serves as a diary. It’s really fun to be able to look back on certain memories & experiences.

With that said, yesterday was a HUGE day for my boyfriend, Michael Minelli! Many of you know that he is a singer/songwriter/dancer/all-around-everything-I’m-not. If you don’t, you’re about to learn today! He just released his first official single & music video, Can You Hear Me and it is a.m.a.z.i.n.g!

I was lucky enough to kind of see it all come together, and WOW, did it come together! I love to be included in his projects – whether I’m doing makeup, live-tweeting for him, pressing play, promoting, or just being an extra pair of hands, it’s fun to be part of a project and see it come to life. Before posting the official video, I wanted to share a few of my favorite pictures that I took from the shoot.. Enjoy! 🙂

Pre-shoot:

Mike had 6 dancers who worked so hard to help make this video a success. They practiced for a couple months prior to get the choreo & everything just perfect!

Day 1 of the shoot:

I got to play makeup artist to all of the guys for the weekend! I’m a makeup junkie, and do Mike’s for his videos once in a while, so when he asked if I could do all of his dancers too, I was happy to help. They were troopers, even with me chasing them around with blotting sheets and powder all the live long day.

All of these guys were such amazing dancers. They worked so hard!

Shooting outside in this little pathway. I think this may have been my favorite spot.

There were a couple more locations on day 1, but I was all over the place & didn’t get to snap them all!

After a hard days work! We were exhausted! — After a hard days work! We were exhausted, but I had to get a picture. It was an exciting day for both of us – I was just so happy for him & couldn’t wait for round 2!

Day 2 of shoot:

This whole scene was amazing! When it looks this good in person, it’s sure to look incredible on film.
