Today I have part three of my four part Christmas break round-up for you. (Find part one: here and two: here)!
So, I’ve had my (recently engaged!!) best friend since I was born! Literally, our Mom’s met in the hospital. My Mom was in labor with me, and her Mom (pregnant with her), was my NICU nurse. They became friends, and after that we became friends, our brothers became friends, and our sisters became friends – all the same age.
We all used to spend nearly every day together growing up, but due to life (sigh), we don’t get to spend as much time together anymore. Over the holiday we miraculously all had time off & decided to have a girls day (missed you, bro’s)!
It was such a wonderful afternoon of tea, treats, makeup, shopping, and plenty of laughs. 😉
My beautiful Mom turned 50 over the weekend! She is the most wonderful woman you’d ever meet, I’m so lucky to have such a special lady in my life. She’s always putting everyone else before herself, she has the most positive outlook on life, and lives everyday with such a full heart. She is simply beautiful from the inside out & just radiates with joy & love. I hope that I can become half the woman that she is one day. 🙂
To honor her big day, we planned a clambake at our home & were SO happy to have so many friends & family members come out to celebrate! Thank you to everyone who attended, and to my wonderful family for helping my Dad, siblings & I pull this together! It was such a fun night 🙂
Below is a slideshow of pictures from the party.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM! I love you.
[[FYI – We hired Capt’n Johns Clambakes out of Norwalk, CT to cater the event – they did SUCH a wonderful job. I can’t stop raving about how excellent their staff & food was.]]
My family is incredible. Honestly, like beyond amazing. Anytime I get to spend with them is so special. They’re funny, warm, inviting, and the most generous, loving people you’d ever meet. Each one of them!
We get together more than most, and love to celebrate everything. Recently, my Aunt Noel turned 60, and all of my Aunts & Mom threw her a surprise luncheon with all of the ladies in her life! It was such a perfect afternoon & she was so, so happy to see all of the friends and family that came out just for her.
We all met at Harbor Lights in Norwalk. It was a really cute restaurant, right on the water.
The sun was shining – even two beautiful swans showed up for the occasion!
My Aunts put a lot of effort into making everything just right, I snapped some of the table details:
We were all mingling & catching up when we got word that she had arrived! We grabbed our cameras and stood there as she walked in with her family. She was SO surprised, it was the cutest thing ever. Obviously, tears were involved 🙂
So surprised! Hugs for everyone 🙂
After some teary hellos, we all settled in and enjoyed some tasty apps!
It was so sunny, I had to snap a pic of my celebrity Mama, wearing her Tom Ford’s at the table.
Forgot to snap a pic of actual lunch! Whoops!
Always have to squeeze in time for group photos…
It was such a special afternoon & I’m so glad I was able to make it! In the words of Teresa Giudice, I love, love, love this family 🙂
Over Memorial Day weekend my boyfriend and I took a trip to Cape Cod to spend some time with friends. I cannot tell you how relaxing, stress-free, and fun of a weekend it was! I wish I did a better job documenting everything, but I’ll share what I do have 🙂
Still on my eating-well kick, I picked up some health-concious snacks at the gas station while we filled up…
Luckily, we didn’t hit any super crazy traffic, but it was still a long ride. Mike asked me an interesting question and I HAD to get it on camera…

Only fair to share a shot of the guys too 😉
We had another yummy dinner that night- steak tips, creamed spinach, and mac & cheese made from the Boston Market recipe (I think ours turned out better!)
Shenanigans ensued all evening, I wish I could share pictures from our charades game, but this is a group of employed professionals 😉 we’ll keep those memories personal!
The next day we just hung out & enjoyed the day. We took so many pictures, here are a few of my faves 🙂
Of course dinner was delish- more steak tips, grilled chicken, kielbasa, lobster, mac & cheese, spinach. SO yummm!
I was craving ice cream all day, and we ended up taking a trip after dinner 🙂 I splurged for a fancy cone with 2 scoops of Oreo Crunch! …What diet..?
Can you tell how excited I was?! lol
We got back that night, and Antonella decided to put her hair extensions on Zack. He looked so funny! All weekend he would randomly sing as if he were a priest, I got a quick video of him singing with his long hair, it’s hysterical!
