I love everything about October – the pumpkins, the foliage, the candy, the weather, Halloween …I cannot believe that it’s already over! I had such a great month & I wanted to recap some of the festive fun!

While visiting my family, I had to stop at one of my favorite places in my hometown. There’s a little observation deck along the reservoir that offers a beautiful view & some gorgeous foliage…So beautiful.My Mom, Sister & I had a little girls pumpkin painting party!My Mom decided to make pumpkins that looked just like her and my Dad LOLMy sister made this crazy detailed skull pumpkin that I never got a good final shot of 🙁My candy cane pumpkin 🙂I love Jodi Picoult & thought October would be the perfect time to read this book. It was SO good! Bonus: Lifetime made it into a crummy made for TV movie too! 😉Winery fun for my best friends birthday 🙂Bests.My Mom turned me onto coconut oil this month. Coconut oil on my feet, arms, legs, face, hair, everything! It’s replaced half of my usual products — that’s a whole nother post!Golfing with my Dad 🙂Giving the pumpkin pie coolata a shot! First few sips were good – the rest made me feel sick lol.Lily dressed up as “Miss Mexico” and participated in a Halloween Dog paradeTrying on random costumes at home!Lunching at the Sycamore in Bethel, CT — my favorite burger place of all time! [Double cheeseburger with everything on it = heaven!)I decided to dress up as Dionne from Clueless for HalloweenI made a makeshift nose ring for my costume that I FORGOT TO WEAR OUT THAT NIGHT! I was so bummed I forgot it.Dress: Aeropostle, white button down: boyfriends, socks: halloween store, shoes: Mandees, headband: CVS. Easiest costume ever 🙂Celebrating at the New Britain Museum of American Art with my pretty peacock roomie 🙂Grilled cheese & cupcake trucks…and break dancers!
October was such a fun month! I definitely didn’t capture everything that happened (and WordPress wouldn’t let me upload a handful of photos), but I thought that I’d share the pictures that I could. 🙂
I’m really looking forward to the next couple of months, I LOVE the holidays. Ahhh, so excited just thinking about it!
