(more…)BIG (natural, wavy, voluminous) HAIR…don’t care!
Tutorial timeeeee! 🙂
UPDATE: This post was written in 2016, but I went back through in 2022 to update any discontinued products with my new favorites (they’re italicized). Also, dead at these weird faces I’m making LOL! 🙂
Right after “what mascara do you use?!” [this one] the most common question I am asked is “what kind of makeup do you wear?!” I am always happy to spill my favorite products + tips with others, so I figured it was about time to share them with you guys as well! 🙂
My everyday makeup routine is so easy, and can be completed in 5 minutes…seriously, I timed it. And fun fact: I use all drugstore makeup! I’m not against high end or pricier products by any means, but I believe that anyone can achieve an equally as gorgeous, flawless face …for a 1/4 of the price. 🙂
I love to play around with fun looks, but on a day to day basis, I really don’t do anything crazy. I’m going to walk you through each step of my routine + share the products that I use! [Prepare for some bizarre photos].
Are you ready?! Here we go…
I’ve been so bad at daily blogging this weekend – I feel like I’ve been running all over the place the last couple of days!
I’m determined to keep up with Blogmas, so tonight I thought I’d do a quick Christmas Edition of Snag Her Style! Between work, family, and friends, most of us have quite a few holiday parties to attend in the upcoming weeks. I wanted to dupe an outfit that was both classy, comfortable, and of course, affordable!
Love her or hate her, you cannot deny Kim Kardashian’s flawless style. If nothing else, the girl knows how to pair, style, accessorize, and just wear clothes (well, most of the time she’s wearing clothes lol).
I really wanted to dupe this simple holiday look of hers from a couple of years ago:
I’m a huge fan of comfortable & forgiving ensembles – this outfit is just that! I was so excited to be able to put together something very similar. Here’s how you can snag the style 🙂 –>
Teardrop Earrings: Kohls – $16.50
China Glaze Liquid Leather: Sally’s Beauty Supply – $5.50
Taupe Tie-Up Back Wrap Cinched Maxi Dress: DH Styles – $20.94
Red matte lipstick “Really Red”: Revlon – $7.99
Grey Suede Platform Pumps: DSW – $39.95
Gold & Ruby Fashion Ring: Ali Express – $4.32
Simply Stated Bangle Set: Forever 21 – $6.16
I love this outfit! I’ll definitely be trying something like this for one of my upcoming holiday events!
Do you have any comfortable, but still stylish holiday outfit ideas? Share below!
XOXO
