The New England weather has been pretty darn beautiful lately. It’s not too hot, but officially too chilly to lay by the pool. It’s not freezing, but jackets aren’t necessary just yet. We’re in that transition phase where we wake up to brisk mornings and find ourselves drenched come lunch time. Getting dressed for these “conditions” can be tricky, but I have a few tips that may help.
I used to be really weird about wearing anything that matched. By “matched”, I mean pieces made of identical fabrics and colors. Skirts and blouses, pants and tops, even bikinis of the same print totally irked me…can’t really tell you why! However, over the past couple of years I’ve begun to really dig the matchy matchy thing and thank goodness for that, because this insanely adorable outfit may have never made it into my closet! 😉
Happy FRIDAY — today I’m sharing a few more photos from my shoot with Oby! This dress was not something I’d usually gravitate towards, BUT I knew we’d just be frolicking around some essentially empty garden grounds and thought why not take this opportunity to shoot in something a little different, playful, and out of my comfort zone!
Where do the weekends go?! I hope you all enjoyed yours! We had a beautiful bridal shower for my cousin on Saturday and we spent all of Sunday (finally) soaking up some sun by the pool! It was a weekend chock-full of my favorite people, doing some of my favorite things. But Monday morning means back to the grind, and this week is going to be a busy one! 🙂
